Ever wondered how Slimming World actually works 🤔? Our eating plan is based on the science of energy density (the calories in a food for every gram of it), of ‘satiety’ (how filling a food is) and how likely we are to overeat it. The Slimming World plan encourages eating more foods that are super filling and low in energy density to naturally limit energy intake without having to count a single calorie!! Looking to up the filling power of your meals? Wholewheat versions of pasta, noodles, bread and rice have more fibre than white versions AND up to 70% more nutrients. If you’re new to wholewheat, try mixing 50:50 white and wholewheat pasta (just allow a bit of extra cooking time).

Finding fun ways to get active and making them a habit doesn’t have to mean running marathons or spending hours at the gym – unless you want it to 🏋️‍♀️🏃‍♀️! For me, nothing beats a brisk walk. It’s something I can do every day, and it boosts my mood while getting me moving ❤.

That’s the beauty of Slimming World’s physical activity support programme, Body Magic. Moving more starts with a single step – whether that’s literally with a morning walk like me 🚶‍♂️, by dipping your toes into some pool-time 🏊‍♀️, or kicking off your active adventure with a team game ⚽.
