                                            A week or two back I posted that a bog-standard EFAW course would no longer be acceptable and was a little unclear and righty questioned. I thought it best to delete the original and address this with a properly written update and a link (as requested).
Any EFAW course provided for security staff 'must explicitly cover how to respond to life-threatening bleeding and how to open airways. If you are delivering an emergency first aid at work (EFAW) course, this is in addition to the standard syllabus'.

Our first aid courses for security staff also include management of blast injuries.
