It is with great sadness that we say goodbye this week to one of our closest Wim Hof Instructor friends Sue Regan Kenney, or Barefoot Sue as many of you knew her, who has passed away after a short period of aggressive cancer.

She was a huge inspiration for both Radek and I, as well as for so many of our retreat participants. She was the reason why we both started not just practising barefooting ourselves, but also teaching it on our retreats - with Sue even connecting with our groups from the other side of the world to tell her amazing stories.

From her signature pale blue toe nails 🩵 to her plunging topless at any opportunity 🫣, may her fearless and adventurous spirit live on in all those that connected with her 🫶

We’ll miss you Sue 💔 May heaven be covered in your favourite surface - soft moss 💚🕊️

What a week!! 🩵💙🩵💙

We’ve just about recovered and come back down to earth after another amazing Winter Retreat in the Czech Republic.

What a group! What an experience! 🫶

We were graced with a perfectly frozen lake, blue skies and snowy backdrops again for a week of ice plunging, saunas, hiking, workouts & wellness.

We’re being asked daily about the dates for the next trip: 25th - 29th Jan 2027!

2nd prep day at Lipno before the group arrives tomorrow = testing the depth, removing the sharp edges of ice, trying to persuade the curious Austrians and Czechs were not that crazy and just enjoying the moment of relaxation before chaos descends!

I think this was one of my favourite plunges to date. Being in nature makes such a difference and of course the sun on your face adds the bonus factor ☀️😊

Less than 20 hours to go before we kick off this year’s 1st Winter Retreat. Excited, a little nervous and tired but we are ready for tomorrow 🙌🫶🥶

This is only an hour away from our retreat location in Czechia where we’ll be 2 weeks today! 🇨🇿 Imagine that! 🥶❄️
