Mvecare Health Solutions is a simple and straightforward family-run company providing a variety of community-based healthcare solutions. We are not a recruitment agency. Due to expansion, we require support workers to cover areas in Sheffield.
You will provide individual person-centered care and support to enable adults with different health needs or/and mental health issues to live as independently as possible in their own homes. You will engage with service users and build trusting relationships. Your role will include visiting service users in their own homes and offering support to develop or maintain their daily living skills.
Practical and emotional support will be offered to encourage the service user's independence in areas of personal care, medication concordance, budgeting, bill paying, menu planning, and meal preparation, shopping, laundry, and finding and accessing activities and services within the local community. You will liaise with family members, other professionals, and agencies to provide a co-ordinated personalized service that meets the identified needs of individuals, promotes their recovery, and maintains their quality of life.
Due to the nature of the job, you will need access to a car. You will also receive a mileage allowance for the use of your own car.
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, experience, or related certifications will be a bonus. However, training will be provided.
We have a variety of clients who we look after throughout the day. We are flexible and looking for someone who can either work all shifts or choose a combination of the following
