This month marks Dignity Action Day, and at Blossom Day Opportunities, we’ve been busy turning a powerful concept into a beautiful work of art. To celebrate, the people we support have been getting stuck in—literally!—to create our very own Dignity Tree display.

Our tree serves as a visual reminder of our values in regards to Dignity, such as:

-​Respecting privacy.
-​Supporting people with the same respect you would want for yourself.
-​Treating each person as an individual.
-​Enabling people to maintain the maximum possible level of independence.

Who says you need to be outside to enjoy the glow of a campfire?

At Blossom Day Opportunities, we don’t let the British weather (or a lack of a forest!) get in the way of a good time. Recently, we brought the great outdoors inside for a spectacular group campfire sing-along!

​It was an afternoon filled with cozy vibes, creative imagination, and some truly impressive vocal performances.

We were absolutely delighted to host Tickled Pink Productions recently for their fantastic performance of Cinderella.

​It was a morning filled with laughter, music, and more than a few "he’s behind you!" moments. For the people we support and our staff, it was a wonderful reminder of the power of live theater to bring people together.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the votes are in, the trophies are polished, and the title of 2025 Staff Member of the Year has been officially awarded to our very own Dorothy!
