My favourite breathwork is . It’s not pranayama from the yogic tradition, but it’s honestly something pretty special. After 50 minutes of dynamic breathing, I had a huge emotional release—felt joy, love, and this deep sense of calm. The only tough part? The ice bath that came after. You can probably tell from my face I wasn’t loving it at first, but I settled in soon enough. Big thanks to the amazing for such a great guided session—both on the mat and in the ice.

In early October, I had the most magical time at Suryalila in Spain. ’d been wanting to go for a few years, and last year I made the decision that 2025 would be the one – and wow, it exceeded all expectations.

It’s full of lovely people, gorgeous animals, and incredible food. If you’ve ever thought about going on a retreat but weren’t quite sure where to begin, I can’t recommend Suryalila enough. You really won’t regret it.

I was there for teacher training to continue my journey, and I feel so lucky to have been guided by the wonderful brunaponsmovement. Her knowledge of yin yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine is amazing. I’m now trained in yin yoga and acupressure – woo hoo.

Yoga’s back! Starting Wednesday 21 May, 7pm at Bolsterstone Village Hall.

I’ve been taking a bit of time to rest and recharge—lots of moving, jigsaws, a bit of travel, and fun with family, friends and my cat.

We’ll ease back in gently (mostly for me!), and everyone’s welcome. Can’t wait to see you all again.

I’m taking a break from teaching yoga until 9 April as I need time to rest.

I’ll be spending my days relaxing, walking, meditating and doing gentle yoga. I’ve neglected these recently and have a bit too much yang in my life.

To keep yogis safe, I’m cancelling tonight’s class.

There’s so much snow and ice around and it’s forecast to be -5 at teatime, I’m
worried it’ll be an ice rink in the village.

I’m sorry, I was looking forward to yoga in 2025.

Happy new year!
Weekly yoga classes are back at Bolsterstone Village Hall Wednesday 13th.

Classes are suitable for all levels including people who haven’t practiced yoga before. I focus more on relaxation and feeling nurtured than strong poses. This is especially important at this time of year. In dark winter months, we need to rest more and do less - something most people struggle with.

There are so many benefits to a regular yoga practice including reduced stress and better physical and mental health.

Classes are drop in and £7. I provide mats and blocks.

I’m teaching my class yoga class of the year on Wednesday 11 December. I’ll be back 8 January.

Thanks to all the wonderful yoginis who have been to class this year. It’s been a privilege and a pleasure to teach and learn from you all.

Merry Christmas and I look forward to relaxing times in 2025.
