Update on our missed appointments 🦷

On Thursday, 2nd April, we had a total of 6 hours and 15 minutes of missed NHS appointments.

When a patient doesn't attend a scheduled slot without letting us know, it directly impacts our ability to care for others. That time could have been used to see roughly 17 other patients who were in need of dental advice.

Please help us keep our service running efficiently. If you can no longer make your appointment, let us know as soon as possible so we can offer that time to someone else. Thank you for your support! 💙

Today is Dr Dickinson’s last day with us before she heads off on her exciting adventure travelling around Australia! 🌏✈️

We’re so sad to see her go, but incredibly excited for everything ahead of her. Dr Dickinson has been such a valued part of the team, and she’ll be greatly missed by both staff and patients.

Yesterday, we experienced a total of 6 hours and 25 minutes of missed nhs appointments due to patients not attending without prior notice.

These missed appointments have a significant impact on our team and prevent us from offering care to other patients who may need urgent treatment.

We kindly ask that if you are unable to attend your appointment, you let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the time to someone else.

Today alone we have had 8 hours and 5 minutes of missed NHS appointments — this is time where patients simply did not attend.

We kindly ask that if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows us to offer those slots to patients who are in pain and urgently need care.
