Early experiences literally map out how we’ll think, feel, and act in later years.

If those experiences have a negative impact on us—like a shock event where the nervous system didn’t have the resources to fully recover—or if our parents couldn’t give us the tools to self-regulate

(because they didn’t have those tools themselves),

we end up with core wounds that shape our very personality and how we see the world. They get ‘wired’ in.

But here’s the good news: if trauma can change the brain, so can healing.

I’m all about shifting the subconscious mind at the belief level, at the cellular level.

And when that happens, healing is profound, gentle, and lasting.

It’s the gentlest way to change that I know. I've helped clients and myself heal from trauma—it's simple, fast, gentle, and highly effective.

Whether it’s being more patient, staying present, or taking care of your own needs, these small, intentional choices can make a big difference.

Start the week by reminding yourself that you don’t have to be perfect—just present, thoughtful, and kind, both to your kids and to yourself.

Your nervous system is running the show. 

That means it's running your life, business; affecting every decision you make for your self, your kids, your relationships and career.

If your nervous system is not regulated then neither is your life. 

When you are in a constant state of activation you are making decisions and viewing every aspect of your day through a lens of threat and feelings of unsafety (even if you don't know it!!) 

Your nervous system is so intelligent and runs so deeply throughout your core; you may feel like you are making rational choices (which your NS absolutely believes is in your best interest) but really you are making decisions based on thoughts and belief  patterns which were created and influenced in earlier life and childhood. 

The ability to regulate by creating capacity within is key to success in all walks of life.

When the proverbial sh*t hits the fan, how do you react? 💩

The way we deal with challenges or bumps in the road is a sign of how our nervous system is overall

Now, everyone is allowed to react to a situation;

feel anger, annoyance, sadness, frustration at things not going to plan or things happening out of our control,

but after the initial “argh!!” moment has dissipated how do you cope with these bumps and rattles? 

If you can regain balance and perspective, take a breather and clear your head and move on, your nervous system is pretty regulated, afterall we are designed to activate and deactivate when life throws obstacles our way.

That is the purpose of the nervous system - to react accordingly then regain balance.

So what about when you don’t deactivate, when the feelings of anger, frustration, sadness don’t dissipate and you don't regain some sort of calm to be able to move forward? 

When your nervous system is dysregulated, things which disrupt our plan can send us in to turmoil.

Clouded mind, blaming and shaming others, mood swings from anger to despair to overwhelm.

The list goes on, but ultimately you end up unhappy, feeling stuck and little/no progress made. 

A feeling of one step forward and two steps back. 

This is clearly unhelpful 👎 and can impact people's lives immensely because so many are not aware there is a different way, there are remedies and solutions to help you do things differently.

It starts with awareness of your reactions. So how did you react last time you experienced a bump? 

Life is so much smoother when your nervous system is regulated. 

And I help folks with exactly that. I help people like you find the root cause of your patterns and behaviours and rewire the unconscious mind so you are no longer stuck on repeat.
