🎄CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE🎄
Find the perfect gift for everyone on your list! 🎅🏻 or share with someone who needs to take the hint 😉
On a more serious note, a massage voucher is a great gift! It’s a gift of time, a gift of a moment of peace and quiet, a gift that gives permission to relax and reset 🎁
If you want to buy a gift voucher for your loved one, there’s 2 different ways you can do so:
1. For a card gift voucher as seen in the pics, just DM or email me, and I can get that posted out to you. Please note that the last day I can guarantee postage before Christmas is Wednesday 17th December (just to make sure!) You can also buy these at your next appointment 😊
2. You can buy a voucher online by visiting my website. This includes printable gift voucher that you can print off at home, and obviously there’s no postage time restrictions on this one! Please note that the voucher will be sent by email immediately on purchase, so put your own details in so you don’t ruin the surprise!

It’s a bit chilly out there, isn’t it? 🥶🥶🥶
Luckily I’ve got the electric blanket on max, heated towels, and plenty of blankets!
You can also add hot stones onto any appointment - just let me know that morning so I’ve got time to get them warmed up 🔥🔥🔥

I know it’s a way away, but there’s a couple of scheduling changes for December.
(Don’t worry, I’m not going to say the C word just yet…)

Now the weather has truly turned autumnal, here’s everything you need to know about hot stones massage 🔥
In a hot stone massage, basalt stones are heated and used as part of the massage alongside my hands, spreading heat and warming up the body 🔥
I’m not gonna lie - hot stones massage is probably my favourite massage to give (maybe? It changes day to day…) because there’s something so comforting and delicious about adding extra heat, particularly at this time of year 🔥🍁🍂

It’s feeling a lot more autumnal this week so I’ve broken out the Autumn Spice blend in the diffuser 🍁🍂
Starring the oil of the month for October, cardamom, it’s a warming, cosy, spicy blend that I LOVE (and would happily use all year round tbf!)

It’s funny, isn’t it, how September always feels like a little reset? even though I’ve not been in education for *whispers* nearly 20 years, I always love this back to school type feeling at this time of year.
With this in mind, September’s essential oil of the month is Rosemary! Inhaling rosemary has been shown to improve short term memory and performance in cognitive tasks; it has a lovely herby aroma that really refreshes the mind and body.
Swipe for my brain boost diffuser blend - rosemary for concentration, Cedarwood for calming and grounding, and grapefruit for a mood boost while you’re working!

Just a little reminder cos it’s going to be a hot one this week!
Even if you’re booked in at the end of the week, my office will probably still be quite warm, so please just let me know if you’re going to struggle with the heat and want to rearrange :)

I spent a brilliant year training in holistic massage at Sheffield Centre for Massage Training, and qualified as a massage therapist in March 2015. I have always been fascinated with the body and the way it works, and I know massage is a great way to reduce stress, and ease those everyday aches and pains.
My route into massage is quite an odd one; I've always had an interest in science, especially biology, and studied zoology at Newcastle University. Since then I've worked in a shop, volunteered for a local conservation charity, chopped down trees and conserved moorland working for Sheffield Wildlife Trust, and trained the public in first aid for St John Ambulance. The common thread to all of this which I try to get across in my massage is my sense of caring; I've always wanted to work in a job where I can make a difference and help people.
There are many things I love about my work, but the main one is that I get the chance to help people feel like the most awesome version of themselves. I love seeing clients leave the session looking visibly happier, less stressed and in less pain than when they came in. I believe that massage is for every body, and anyone and everyone can benefit from a regular massage.
Massage wise, I have a range of experiences and have worked with a variety of people. I've worked with the Sheffield Hatters and Sheffield Junior Sharks basketball teams, done post race massage at the Great North Run, Sheffield half marathon and Manchester 10k, done seated massage outdoors at a local market, and worked with a range of people at the practices I currently work from. I have also done further training in pregnancy massage, hot stones massage, kinesiology taping, holistic facials, and reflexology.
Outside of work, I’m a massive fan of podcasts, Harry Potter, Instagram, cats, lifting weights, watching basketball, and I’ve just started learning to make clothes (with mixed results!).
