Welcome to Movember everyone!
November marks Men's Mental Health Month and is dubbed "Movember" to encourage men to grow a moustache or beard to raise awareness about men's health issues.
We know that men are synonymous for not talking about their health, and a recent survey published by Priory Group showcases that 40% of men have never spoken about their mental health and that the same percentage of men said they would take thoughts of self harm or su***de to compel them to seek support.
This needs to change. So this month, let's talk to our brothers, boyfriends, guyfriends, husbands, sons, dads, grandads, uncles, godfathers and godsons and help change this statistic for good.
Proudly grow and share your facial hair for November chaps, and talk to anyone about anything concerning you. Please don't bottle it in.

Now that we are officially in Autumn and the amount of daylight hours starts to decrease, we are aware that symptoms of Seasonal Affective Disorder can start to appear around this time of year, through into winter.
Its thought that the change in daylight can trigger a chemical change in the brain leading to the symptoms of depression. It can zap your energy and change your mood, and is a type of depression.
If you feel you recognize this in yourself or in someone you love, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us and see how our expert CBT therapists can help you through this.
Every year, organisations and communities around the world come together to raise awareness of how we can create a world where fewer people die by su***de.
If you know of anyone struggling, please reach out to them and provide invaluable support.
Today of all days, let's break the stigma of mental health issues and prevent our loved ones from struggling.
