New research continues to reinforce what we continue to see in the clinic every year... That cold temperatures can make muscles tighter and joints less mobile. This stiffness may increase the risk of strains, sprains or sudden pulls especially if you jump straight into an activity

Did you know that during snow and ice periods, there is a significant increase (more than double) in fracture risk?
Over 60% of these incidents involve upper extremity injuries, (primarily wrists when trying to break a fall) along with ankles and hips (due to slipping).

Georgina Hollinrake, one of our Co-Directors and Lead Physiotherapists (at our Hope clinic), has written our latest blog post - a review on fractures.

We are sad to announce that today is Sujay's last day with us at Activ Physiotherapy 😔

Over the last 3 years, all of us at Activ have all enjoyed working with Sujay and he has proven an invaluable member of our team... supporting all of us whenever needed, always friendly & approachable and for being an amazing physiotherapist, of course!

Sujay, you will be greatly missed by all of us, colleagues & patients alike - we wish you all the best in your new position and for your future! Good luck 😊
