Last night the doors to the Red Tent opened for our second ceremonial womb circle of
🌹Healing The Motherline- A Red Thread Series🌹Womb & Moon 🌙 at Sheffield Goddess Temple

Together in Rose ceremony we journeyed as a circle of women - through story, voice, breath and ritual to honour our journey of the blossoming woman in our matriarchal lineage. Remembering first blood and reclaiming the sacred wisdom of the body & of the moon within 🌙🌹

Such an honour to witness the power & beauty held in these circles & the women who choose to tend to these threads within their own lives.📿

I feel the soft power rising in me as I journey with the red thread of my maternal lineage, and the circle of grandmothers. My own womb cycle has once again synced with the cycle of the moon. Bleeding through the descent portal of the autumn equinox and rising through ovulation with the full moon.

Shadows through this portal have been revealing themselves both within an all around me- particularly so with the presence of constant stimulation - over functioning, over giving, continuous productivity- and this sense of push & pull of daily life tasks and the inner rhythms of the body & nature. Places where I am asked to lean in further- to listen, to nurture and to alchemise- to take ‘response’ ability for my parts in continuing or challenging these patterns within my own psyche.

But there is a gentleness here, a tender edge & acknowledgment that this not only ‘mine’. These patterns of survival, functioning, holding -have served purpose and to dismantle them without adequate preparation and structures to hold this shift can disempower rather than support.
It takes courage and it takes commitment to repattern these reflections of patriarchy and capitalism within my own system when there is still so much to be done in the cultural systems and institutions that still uphold these values that pull at us everyday.

But I can do my part- weaving the final touches to my women’s red thread circle ⭕️ 🌹 to create a space to share and support the reclaiming of our own inner sacred relationship to the body, the womb and the feminine within the context & culture I/we live within.

To journey with sisters as we reclaim the threads our mothers perhaps weren’t able to & witness both the challenge and the power of this deepening work.

This rememberance is for all of us, our daughters, grandchildren and those who have walked before us. We are at the threshold- the potential for a new way of being in our lineage to again take root.

🌹 The Red Thread flows through the womb 📿

Mother to daughter, forwards and backwards – carrying the herstorys and memories of the feminine, our bodies, our rhythms and our blood wisdom.

For centuries- our cyclical gifts were suppressed, denied, hidden, shamed.
Our bodies wisdom of birth, s*x, death, renewal - taught to be something to fear, to hide or manipulate- even titled as ‘sinful’ - as our forms and powers became held as object under the patriarchal lenses of womanhood. Sold the lies that we are by our very natures..either too much or simply not enough.

🌙How many of us have carried this wounding in our lineage, or in our own stories today? 🌙

Yet… women have not forgotten our innate power✨
We remember in our bones, our bleedtime, our dreams and our visions.
We gather in red circles once more.
We honour the wisdom of our bodies, wombs & sacred cycles.

Healing the Motherline- A Red Thread Series part 2- Womb: Blood & Moon 🌙 🌹opens its doors later this month in a powerful ceremony of reclamation.

Rose petals, moonlight, first blood remembered.
To heal the motherline is to return to source.
To reclaim the gifts of our lineage.
To remember who we truly are. 🌙

🍂Autumn Equinox & Solar Eclipse in Virgo 🍂

I am grateful to have spent the equinox weekend in our local Temple Spaces- Beginning with holding the opening circle for my healing the motherline red thread series on Saturday. With my son for the temple seeds children’s circle Sunday morning and joining the Sheffield Goddess Temple seasonal equinox ceremony in the woods yesterday afternoon 🍂🌳🙏

The autumn equinox - a time of balance, where night and day once again sit side by side as equals before we are invited into the deepening dark here in the northern hemisphere.

This is also a time to reflect on our harvest - a gathering of the ripe fruits & seeds of our lives, to sustain us over the winter months- celebrating all that has grown and ripened with gratitude.

Alongside this too- a time of decay & shedding - offering back to the soil that which has reached completion, or is ready to be released - so that it may become compost and nourish the earth. The necessary surrender of what was, so that new life may once again return in the spring.

Reflected in our psyche this is a time of transformation- recalibration, cleansing and regeneration as we prepare to enter the winter months and shift into a new energetic cycle.

Coupled with the eclipse energies you may have already been feeling this strongly, particularly in the realms of the body, home, health and identity. Shadows may have revealed themselves for witnessing and integration or we may have noticed places within our lives that are asking for our nurturing & tending in order to find a greater sense of balance.

Such a beautiful first circle last night opening the doors to ‘ Roots & Remembrance’ the first immersion of
✨Healing the Motherline – A Red Thread Workshop Series ✨at Sheffield Goddess Temple.

In ceremony we remembered our ancestors & shared our stories, wove our prayers & blessings, journeyed with the tree of life and sang ourselves home.. 🌿✨

It’s truly an honour to facilitate these spaces & such a gift to sit in circle with each of the women who joined me.

Our next immersion 🌹 Womb: Blood & Moon 🌹 will be held on Saturday 18th October. Half the places are already booked for this one, so please get in touch to reserve your space.
