🌿 What is Accessible Yoga? 🌿

When people hear the word yoga, they often picture complicated poses, extreme flexibility, or young, bendy bodies in colourful leggings. But here’s the truth: yoga is for every body – all ages, shapes, sizes, and abilities. 💛

That’s where accessible yoga comes in.
Accessible yoga is all about meeting you where you are, right now. Each class offers gentle, adaptable movements, breathing practices, and relaxation so you can enjoy the benefits of yoga without pressure to “keep up” or “do it perfectly.”

✨ You’ll always have a choice to practise on the mat or in a chair – or even switch between the two.

Benefits of accessible yoga include:

✔ Improving flexibility and joint mobility
✔ Gently building strength at your own pace
✔ Supporting balance and posture
✔ Reducing stress, tension, and fatigue
✔ Boosting calm, focus, and overall wellbeing

I’m starting Accessible Gentle Yoga class on Tuesdays at 11:45am in Firth Park, Sheffield. Your first class is half price (£4), and after that it’s £32 for a block of 4 sessions.

Looking for a way to relax, stretch, and breathe in a welcoming space? My beginner-friendly yoga classes are open to all! 🌿💛

📍 Location: Firth Park Bowling Green (inside the park, opposite the Doctor’s Surgery at 396 Firth Park Road)

🧘‍♀️ Class Schedule:

Monday: 6:15 – 7:15 PM (Spaces available!)
Tuesday: 10:30 – 11:30 AM (Currently full!)
Tuesday: 11:45 AM – 12:45 PM (Spaces available!)

💰 Price: £4 per class – but no one is turned away for lack of funds. Everyone is welcome!

It's a friendly class for mixed abilities and all levels, beginners especially welcome!
