Dr David Unwin, who has been a very popular presenter to the Sheffield Diabetes UK Group in 2021 and 2023, will be on Channel 4 this Thursday, January 8th, from 8pm, in a programme about tackling diabetes and needing less medication.
Bernie, Frank and Rauf spoke at Sheffield's fabulous Diabetes and Hope Gala on Nov 8th last year, about how they have made changes to their lifestyles and have reduced their weight and the amount of medication they need, and how much healthier and confident they feel now - it's really fabulous to know how much can be done to help our health improve!

Hi all,

Just saw in the Diabetes UK Facebook Group - Your Friends in the North - that Dr David Unwin who has been a very popular presenter to the Sheffield Diabetes UK Group in 2021 and 2023 - and came to Sheffield for the Public Health Collaboration Conference too!

So, the Southport GP Practice will be on Channel 4 this Thursday, January 8th, from 8pm, in a programme about tackling diabetes and so, needing less medication.

Eating disorders in diabetes refers to a range of troubling and persistent disturbances in eating behaviours that occur alongside a diabetes diagnosis.
This friendly discussion group is all about understanding what support people really need. What you share will help shape the new South Yorkshire Diabetes and Eating Disorder Programme, making sure it meets the needs of those it’s designed to help.
