Insight and HAAS Alert: Digital alerting for UK emergency services

Insight is partnering with HAAS Alert to bring Safety Cloud® to emergency fleets across the UK. This isn’t just another integration. It’s about shifting from reactive driving to informed driving.

By combining Safety Cloud® with Insight’s telematics platform, emergency vehicles can broadcast their presence in real time to nearby drivers and connected systems. Earlier awareness. Fewer surprises. Lower collision risk.

What is added with this partnership:

- Real-time digital alerts to surrounding traffic
- Increased visibility beyond line-of-sight
- Better decision-making for drivers under pressure

“Insight has been pushing the edge of telematics in emergency services for some time now. Partnering with HAAS Alert extends that edge beyond the vehicle and into the wider road network, where it can actually prevent incidents. By integrating HAAS Alert, Insight helps create a connected safety layer that protects crews and the public in real time.”
– Dr J Rogel-Salazar, Chief Innovation Officer, Ortus Technologies

Together with HAAS Alert, we’re committed to delivering innovative, connected solutions that keep responders, clinicians, and communities safer every day.

Yesterday we hosted our corpuls UK User Group Meeting, bringing together all the trusts we support for a full day of collaboration, innovation, and shared learning.

It was a fantastic opportunity for teams to meet face‑to‑face, discuss challenges, exchange ideas, and connect with colleagues from other trusts who are using the same corpuls technology.

A major part of the agenda was focused on data‑driven healthcare. We dived into:

🔹 corpuls.mission LIVE
🔹 corpuls.mission CONFERENCE
🔹 corpuls.manager ANALYSE

These platforms are transforming how data flows between teams and devices - improving decision‑making, strengthening operational efficiency, and ultimately enhancing patient care.

We enjoyed a productive day of conversation, connection, and shaping the future of healthcare together.

Great to be back at London Ambulance Service this week delivering corpuls cpr engineering training at their Supply & Distribution warehouse in Rainham, where their engineers are based.

Six of the LAS engineering team took part in the session, gaining the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to service and repair their own fleet of corpuls cpr arms.

With the fleet set to reach 45 devices by April, this training will help ensure the equipment remains ready for use when crews need it most, supporting frontline teams in delivering high-quality patient care.

A big thank you to the London Ambulance Service engineers for their engagement throughout the training – we look forward to continuing our support as the fleet grows.

Supporting learning and advancing discussion around pre‑hospital cardiac arrest care in the Capital this week.

The Ortus Technologies team attended the eCPR Essentials Course delivered by ECAT (Endovascular Cardiac Arrest Team), London’s Air Ambulance Charity, Barts Health and London Ambulance Service.

This collaboration between specialist teams is vital to improving patient outcomes, from enabling rapid access to advanced cardiac arrest interventions in the pre‑hospital environment, through to seamless transition to in‑hospital specialist care. ♥️

The course highlighted the growing clinical focus on extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation (eCPR), reflecting the ongoing evolution of resuscitation practice within HEMS and critical care medicine.

Throughout the session, clinicians engaged in hands‑on training with leading resuscitation technologies, including the mechanical chest compression system — enabling precise targeting of the area of maximal compression (AMC), supporting consistent, high‑quality CPR in challenging scenarios.

Emerging evidence from the Sydney HEMS PRECARE Trans‑oesophageal Echo (TOE) study shows that in 82% of cases, AMC requires adjustment from standard positioning to optimise flow from the left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT), reinforcing the importance of technology‑supported precision in cardiac arrest management.

A huge thank you to Dr Sean Scott for organising and delivering the course. It was fantastic to see clinicians, educators and industry partners coming together to share insight and shape the future of pre‑hospital emergency medicine and cardiac arrest care.

Trauma care isn’t always steady flow - the only warmer validated for rapid bolus, push-pull, and hand-pump infusions.

When infusions are intermittent or manually driven, most warmers struggle to keep temperatures stable. Warrior lite is uniquely proven to deliver consistent, safe warming across all rapid-bolus and push-pull techniques with zero lapse in care, even in.

And with temperatures dropping, the risk of hypothermia rises fast. Make sure your teams are winter-ready.
