The new ERC Guidelines mark a pivotal shift in resuscitation science, recognising that high-quality ventilation is not secondary to high-quality chest-compressions, but equally as important.

Supporting WAST’s Upgrade Project!

Last week, our servicing team visited the Caerphilly Logistics Hub to commission 56 new corpuls3 devices for the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust (WAST).

These new devices will play a key role in WAST’s upcoming upgrade project — introducing Software 4.4.2, Glasgow full scale, and corpuls.manager ANALYSE across their full fleet.

Onsite, our WAST Account Engineer Natasha and WAST Field Engineer Sree delivered comprehensive upgrade training, AED/Accuvac troubleshooting, and basic frontline maintenance of the corpuls3.

The first batch of upgraded devices is now ready to support the wider rollout — a great milestone achieved in collaboration with WAST’s engineering support team.

👏 A big thank you to everyone involved for helping drive this project forward and supporting frontline teams across Wales!

👑 Today, HRH the Prince of Wales visited London Ambulance Service HQ!

Prince William marked the organisation’s 60th anniversary by meeting paramedics and hearing about their experiences working for the UK’s largest ambulance service.

During the visit, he took part in a training demonstration and witnessed the corpuls cpr in action, seeing firsthand how modern technology supports life-saving care.

A fantastic reminder of the dedication of our paramedics and the innovation that helps them save lives every day! 🚑

🚁 A Day on “The Helipad” with London’s Air Ambulance & ECAT!

This week we were invited up to the 17th floor of The Royal London Hospital to work with the ECAT (Endovascular Cardiac Arrest Team) and support them with familiarisation training on the corpuls cpr ahead of their ECMO/ECPR device trial.

Why this is a big step forward:

✔️ corpuls cpr is now the preferred device for LAS Advanced Paramedic Practitioners, who are often first to reach cardiac arrest patients.
✔️ Using Invasive Blood Pressure (IBP) monitoring, the team can target optimal chest compression depth and diastolic pressure - proven to improve ROSC rates.
✔️ After ECMO/ECPR is started, patients are transferred to London ECMO centres like Barts, who are also standardising on corpuls cpr.

The team is also trialling the Clarius POCUS system to streamline femoral access — another key part of the ECMO procedure.

Proud to be working alongside teams pushing the limits of resuscitation science

Your defibrillator is a vital link — but only if it’s ready for action.
Here’s how to make sure it’s always prepared for an emergency:
➡️ Check status indicators – Confirm the device shows it’s “rescue ready” and operational.
➡️ Inspect pads and batteries – Make sure they’re in date and securely connected.
➡️ Keep it accessible – The AED should be clearly visible, easy to reach, and free from obstructions.
➡️ Know your location – Ensure your AED is registered on the circuit https://bit.ly/46VRSti
➡️ Train and refresh – Encourage regular CPR and AED refreshers so everyone feels confident to act.

A few quick checks could save a life.

More patients. More possibilities. 💪

When every second counts, effective CPR shouldn’t have limits.

The corpuls CPR delivers consistent, high-quality compressions — even for bariatric patients, where size or weight often make resuscitation more complex.

✅ No weight restrictions
✅ Thorax height of up to 34cm
✅ Rotating arm for perfect placement

Thanks to Simulaids Ltd for supplying their bariatric training manikin, showcased on our stand at , helping us demonstrate how the corpuls CPR adapts to real-world challenges.
