✨🎄 What a night! 🎄✨

Earlier this week, we had the absolute joy of joining the Master Cutler, Professor Keith Jackson, and Mistress Cutler, Dr Gina Jackson, for a fabulously festive The Cutlers' Hall Carols Service 🎶.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, sang their hearts out and helped support Weston Park Cancer Charity 💜.

– presents for paediatric patients 💜

Radiotherapy can be an extremely difficult experience for paediatric patients.

That’s why our radiographers like to give each child a present once their treatment is complete.

🎁 Children also receive small gifts if they’re going through treatment on their birthday – or during holidays such as Christmas and Easter.

These gifts, which are charity-funded, recognise important milestones and are another way of showing our paediatric patients how much we care about them.

✨ Next up in our ‘see it. treat it.’ Appeal Board spotlight series is: Tajinder Singh!

Tajinder, who is the owner of Totley Pharmacy, got involved after attending the appeal launch:

“Hearing first-hand about the difference the [MRI Simulator Cancer Scanner] could make to patients’ lives really moved me.

“When I was later asked to join the Appeal Board, it was an easy decision. The clinical benefits of the scanner are so significant that I simply had to help.

"Like so many people, I’ve seen loved ones cared for at Weston Park, so this cause is very close to my heart.”

We loved having Ginge at the earlier this year, supporting our Appeal. He brought the energy, the laughs, and was an absolute star for the Sky Sports team 🌟

🎄We’re so grateful to Woolley Edge Christmas Tree Farm and the Wheatherstone family, who have both generously gifted us Christmas trees this year! 🎄

You can find Woolley Edge’s Christmas trees at our Support Centre and Weston Park Cancer Centre.

And the Wheatherstone family’s Christmas tree is making things merry and bright at our Cavendish Centre!

An extra shout-out goes to The University of Sheffield Tennis Club for volunteering their time yesterday to decorate the trees.

Thank you all for making our buildings feel festive for our patients, clients, volunteers and staff members 💜.
