We’re delighted to announce that Professor Keith Jackson, recently inaugurated as the 386th Master Cutler of The Company of Cutlers, has chosen Weston Park Cancer Charity as his charity for 2025–2026 💜.

Professor Jackson and his wife, Dr Gina Jackson (Mistress Cutler), have seen first-hand the impact of cancer — both personally and professionally — and are proud to support our ‘see it. treat it.’ appeal, raising £1.85 million to fund a pioneering MRI simulator for Weston Park Cancer Centre.

🚐 New Big Purple Bus location...Firth Park! 🚐

Our Big Purple Bus will now be stationed at the First Start Family Hub in Firth Park, Sheffield on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.

We’ll be parked towards the back end of the car park from 9.30am - 4.30pm.

We’re still reeling from Elevation Recruitment Group's Manufacturing Charity Ball!

Elevation raised over £50,000 through this spectacular evening – more than double their original fundraising target!

The event, which took place on Friday, saw more than 300 guests descend on The Cutlers' Hall for an evening of fine dining and dancing.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Elevation for the months of planning that went into this wonderful occasion 💜.

We were blown away by the generosity of everyone who attended and can’t express what a difference the money raised will make to our hospital and patients.

This week nine incredible supporters are setting off on the adventure of a lifetime - conquering Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for people affected by cancer. 💜🏔️

Leading the charge is our very own trustee David Grey MBE, alongside an amazing team determined to fly the Weston Park purple flag at the summit on 19th October. They’ll tackle the breath taking Lemosho Glades route to reach the snow-capped peak - every step fuelled by your support. 👣

Among them is Paul Milligan, who runs a local health clinic. Inspired by the support his wife received from Weston Park Cancer Charity after being diagnosed with cancer, Paul is taking on this challenge to give something back:

“So many of the patients I see, and of course my wife, receive such incredible support from Weston Park Cancer Charity so this trek offers a wonderful chance to give back. I've trekked to Everest base camp before so I have some idea what might be in store. I can tell you this is going to be a real challenge! Please donate whatever you can — it will really spur us on when things get tough."
