Yesterday this happened. I have not been as active on here as I would have liked due to so much going on at home these past few months or so, and the fact that I have been trying to not overwork or make this worse. Yesterday I had my rotator cuff repaired so I will be in a sling for around 4 weeks. Fortunately the damage was not as bad as first thought so not in a sling for as long as it could have been. A good number of weeks of physio is in my future, along with the finishing of one of the things that’s has kept me so busy just lately.
After that I will be back to quilting and creating a lot more than I have been so more will be appearing.
Right now the huge amount of anesthetic that was in my shoulder is wearing off nicely and surprisingly I am not in as much pain as I thought I would be, and the feeling in the rest of my arm is almost back to normal, though still feels a bid weird. Not as much swelling as I thought there would be either, which again is a good thing. Everything done by keyhole surgery so I wont have huge scars which is a bonus.
What I am hoping to do is to be able to start putting some of the class plans together ready for the all the planned videos and demos that I intend to do this year. Some will be as a class on zoom and others will be general quilting tips and techniques, so if there is anything in particular you would like me to include, now is the time to let me know. Freemotion, Prostitcher or Designer. Ruler work or fills, feathers or flurry’s, just let me know and I will include them.
