My Story

After 21 years in local government I have left my job to become a self-employed Holistic Therapist.

Holistic therapies have always interested me, but after receiving a massage from a friend, I decided to study the same course and qualified in 1996 in level 3 Swedish Massage.

I enjoyed doing treatments for family and friends, who had muscle tightness and required relaxation. Although my mum always said that if you ever have a family it’s a skill that you have always got, I never considered it as a career.

Over the years my thirst for knowledge increased and I went on to qualify in Indian Head Massage, Second degree Reiki, and Hot stones massage.
