Our community-based homes provide specialist nursing care for adults living with complex needs arising from mental ill-health, neuro-disability, learning disability and/or autism, spinal and brain injury and complex dementia.

All aboard for a day to remember ⛵

Residents from Woolston House and their families set off on a relaxing canal cruise from Stockton Heath to Lymm Village ⚓

From spotting ducks and herons, to admiring the gardens along the water, there were plenty of smiles (and lots of tea!) on board 😀

A big thank you to Colin, Richard and Martin from Warrington Disability Partnership for taking such good care of us 💛

When Jimmy moved to Hylton Grange 12 months ago, he had one goal - to find a meaningful role in the community 🗺️

Fast forward to today… and he’s smashing it!

Jimmy's now volunteering at a local garden centre and allotments, where he’s already earning amazing feedback for his hard work and dedication 🌱

This milestone is a brilliant example of what can be achieved with determination, the right support, and a clear goal 💚

At Bennett Court we hosted our very first Wild West party, and what a turnout it was! Yeehaw! 🤠

Service users, colleagues, local community members, and even friends from other Exemplar Health Care homes came together to enjoy a day full of laughter, music, and memory making.

🎵 Singalong Days brought the party to life with fantastic tunes

🐴 Mobile Mini Ponies joined us with Buttercup the cow, goats, and pigs from The Purple Pig Company

🎉 Everyone joined in the fun and games with a smile on their face

Learning together at Fairburn Vale 💙

Residents and colleagues have started learning British Sign Language (BSL) together - breaking down barriers and building stronger connections 🥰

The idea came from Jess, one of our valued colleagues, who is profoundly deaf without her hearing aids. Jess wanted to learn BSL, and several residents were keen to join her.

With support from Jess and our Occupational Therapist, Emma, the team now run weekly classes 🎓

Everyday phrases like “hello” and “thank you” are already being used around the home 👋

It’s making a real difference to daily life - creating a more inclusive environment where everyone feels heard.

Rob made the most of it at Meadowcroft - he shopped the day away, buying everything from a book to a fire engine 📗 🚒
