I love a before and after photo. A client here with discomfort on the left foot just under the 5th metatarsal. Once the hard skin was removed, the seed corns were revealed. These are tiny areas of hard skin that have been pushed further into the foot ( due to more pressure and friction in this area) and can become very painful.
After a little work with my blade, out they popped and the client feels so much better. 😊

This client of mine was suffering from an involuted nail, sometimes it was ingrowing and could become infected. His had an Onyfix applied in March 2023 and is now pain-free. As you can see, the nail plate has widened and doesn't pinch on the skin. I have applied a new onyfix today as the original one final reached the end of the nail. This is to correct the shape of the nail further.
If you suffer with pain/discomfor of a nail,this could be the answer. No surgery or invasive treatment.

What is a corn? I hear you ask. Well, I can't hear you, but I'll tell you anyway. It is just hard skin, but it happens when there is rubbing or pressure in one area and the hard skin starts to press further into your foot ( I have seen 1 on a hand before). They can be very painful. I was that impressed with this removal of a corn I did the other day, I had to take a photo of it. 1 client very much relieved 🥰

A little review from my client. They have suffered many years with involuted nails. This is the start of a painless journey, straightening out the nail plate using Onyfix.
"Just a quick word to anyone thinking of having a brace put on their nail to help it grow straight instead of rounded. Do it, I can honestly say I didn't feel a thing and I was worried about it hurting. There was absolutely no need. Would recommend it. No fear, Helen is here."
