Todays we had a home game against Worksop SJR in cold 🥶 and very bright 🌞 conditions.

We started off in good form we went a goal up through Edward ⚽️ with a neat finish at the far post following a good cross from Louie. Worksop slowly played into the game and managed to find an equaliser against the run of play. We managed to grab a second goal before half time following some good play, Caleb had a decent effort that was spilled by the worksop keeper and on the second attempt Louie managed to poke it home.

Second half the game became a little scrappy, we had a couple of chances but the worksop keeper managed prevent us scoring a third goal which the performance deserved. Towards the end of the game worksop started to throw bodies forward looking for a equaliser which eventually came and we just couldnt find a winner in the remaining minutes.

👁️‍🗨️🧟‍♂️ Spooky update: The Optomonster went to Specsavers today!

He stomped in yelling, “I can’t see a thing!” — turns out he’s been chasing pumpkins instead of people this whole time. 🎃😂

After a full eye test (and scaring the poor optician twice), he picked out some snazzy new glasses. Now he can finally tell the difference between a ghost and a bedsheet! 👓👻
