Taking place on Friday the 23rd of May at the Medical school join us to learn about all aspects of major trauma care from Emergency Medicine Physicians, Anesthetists, and Orthopaedic Surgeons!

*Restart a Heart Day Sign-up*

Restart a Heart Day is a national event organised by the Resuscitation Council UK to raise awareness of cardiac arrest, and teach as many people as possible CPR.

We are running events in The Moor, Graves Park, and Endcliffe Park, on three different weekends as part of this initiative, and need volunteers to help!

There will be a short training session prior to the events to refresh your knowledge and a certificate for your portfolio will be provided following the day to prove your involvement.

*The events we have planned are:*
The Moor - Saturday 19th October
Graves Parkrun - Saturday 26th October
Endcliffe Parkrun - Saturday 2nd November

Meet Hannah our 2024/25 Vice President and Inclusion Officer! Hannah has been on committee for a couple of years and is also involved with which brings a great dynamic to the group! Planning on Intercalating in Urgent & Emergency Care this September means that this summer Hannah aims to get into the Peaks as much as physically possible and potentially head to Amsterdam!

We run regular Simulation sessions and all have a passion for teaching acute medicine not just to medics but to other university students and societies.
