What’s behind composite bonding?
Today we’re going to talk about the initial composite bonding appointment. Usually, the appointment can take 2–4 hours, depending on the complexity and the number of teeth involved. There are 5 main steps on the day:
1. Choosing the shade.
We always aim for something you feel comfortable with and that matches your natural teeth. (Before this, we often do whitening, so it’s usually around A1–B1 shade.)
2. Preparing the tooth.
We believe this is one of the most important parts of the treatment, as it has a big impact on the final result.
3. Composite placement.
We use a special mould that we agreed on beforehand. The composite is applied using a specific technique, and the result is already very close to perfect, but…
4. Polishing.
We always polish the teeth to achieve the most natural finish. We know you want them to feel like your own, so we do everything to make your dream smile a reality.
5. The final moment – excitement.
We’re always happy to hear your feedback, see your happy tears and your confidence grow. Because your health and smile are our priority.
