Twelve Trees Care Established in 1994 Twelve Trees is familiar face within the local community.

Making the decision to move in to a residential home can be difficult, whether it be for yourself or for a loved one. Here at Twelve Trees we understand and appreciate the importance of making sure that any move to a new home is the right one for the individual. That is why we invite any potential new residents to come and meet us, whether that be for an informal chat and a look around our home, o

r to take part in one of our many activities and meet the other residents who live here at Twelve Trees. Our dedicated care team provides 24 hour care for all our residents; each and every resident has a detailed care plan, tailored towards their individual needs, preferences and choice about the care they receive is a priority here at Twelve Trees. Helping our residents live fulfilling lives in a comfortable safe environment is at the centre of everything we strive to achieve. Promoting dignity, respect and choice are key aspects in the care provided by our staff.

Happy Friday from Twelvetrees!!
As part of our 30 Events to Celebrate 30 Amazing Years, we are excited to share that we have now reached Event Number 8! 🥳

What a fantastic journey it has been so far — full of laughter, memories, community spirit, and special moments shared together by our residents, staff, families, and friends. ❤️

Each event is a celebration of the wonderful people who make our home such a warm and happy place to be, and we cannot wait to continue the celebrations throughout the year! 🎈

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported and joined in with our anniversary events so far — your kindness, energy, and smiles make every moment extra special. 🌟

Sunny days mean one thing at Twelve Trees… we’re out making the most of every moment! ☀️

Last week certainly didn’t keep us indoors with all that glorious weather. We had a fantastic time welcoming Martin, who came along to sing for us, 🎤🎶bringing plenty of smiles and music to our home.

We enjoyed not one, but two lovely trips to Endcliffe Park, as well as a visit to Millhouses Park where we fed the ducks 🦆 and treated ourselves to coffee, ☕️ cake, 🍰 ice cream, 🍨 and even hot chocolate with marshmallows! 🍦☕

Back at home, 🏠 we kept active with our weekly exercise session in our beautiful garden, soaking up the sunshine. ☀️We also took a scenic trip 🚗 to Castleton and Winnats Pass, where the views were absolutely breathtaking.

Of course, no week would be complete without a delicious treat — we tucked into some fantastic fish and chips at Whitby’s, which went down a treat! 🐟🍟

A big highlight was celebrating our lovely resident Pat’s birthday — a wonderful day full of smiles and celebration 🎉

We also enjoyed a trip to Sheffield Wednesday’s last match of the season,⚽️⚽️and rounded off the weekend with a visit to Hope for the beer festival — 🍻 a great way to finish an already amazing week!

What another lovely week here at Twelve Trees Care Home ! 😊☀️🕺🎤🍾🥂🎉

Sunday was a great day out at Sharrow Market~full of smiles, great atmosphere, and we even managed to sneak in a cheeky beer 🍻

We enjoyed Mandy and Sean 🎤🎶who certainly entertained us,the dance floor was full again as usual 🕺💃

We all enjoyed movie 🎥 day 🍭 🍿

Chair exercises was a hit with our new lady Enid she thoroughly enjoyed her first day with us and said she will definitely we returning.

A trip to Costa is always a must for us here at Twelve Trees ☕️

A nice trip to Sheffield town centre today was enjoyed, managed to grab a ☕️ and 🍰 came home to enjoy music sat in our lovely garden in this glorious weather☀️😊🎶

Today we want to say a huge thank you to the lovely Nena, who has been on placement with us since November.Nena has been such a brilliant help,and both our residents and staff are going to miss her so much.💛

Thank you , Nena for everything you’ve done~you’ve made a real difference during your time with us.Wishing you all the very best for your next chapter…We know you’ll do amazing things!🌟

You will be truly missed!

What a fantastic week we’ve had here at TwelveTrees Care Home! 🌞

On Monday, we enjoyed a wonderful trip to Matlock Bath, soaking up the sunshine with fish and chips followed by some delicious ice cream 🍦– a perfect day all round!

Tuesday brought music and joy as the lovely Alan Turner came to sing for us, and what a treat it was when he brought his mum Debbie along too, who also sang beautifully. The dance floor was full, and everyone had such a great time! 🎶💃

On Wednesday, we headed out to Wentworth Garden Centre 🌲 where we enjoyed a lovely picnic surrounded by gorgeous plants and even spotted some beautiful birds – such a peaceful and relaxing day.

Thursday was full of seaside fun at Cleethorpes! The residents loved the sand, the amusements, and of course, the donuts went down an absolute treat! 🍩🌊🐟🌞

And today, we’re off on another adventure to Heeley City Farm 🐐– we can’t wait to see what the day brings!

So many smiles, laughter, and special memories made this week 💚🎉

Last week at Twelve Trees has been full of fun, laughter, and sunshine! ☀️

We started off with a lovely trip to Endcliffe Park, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. Back at home, we were treated to a wonderful garden performance from Terry Freeborn – everyone had a fantastic time singing along while enjoying ice cream in the sunshine 🍦🎶 enjoyed coffee and a stroll around Millhouses park

We also had a fantastic friendship lunch at Mosborough Hall, complete with great music from Oliver. It was a truly special outing for everyone involved.

One of the highlights of the week was getting our hands on one of the famous “elephant’s feet” – and it certainly didn’t disappoint! 😋

Back in the garden, the sunshine continued as residents took turns giving the piñata a good bash. The chocolate didn’t stand a chance of melting after Trish and Mo got involved 😂 A big well done to Mo, who won and kindly shared the treats with everyone 👏

To round off a brilliant week, we enjoyed a trip to M&S followed by a well-deserved coffee at Costa ☕️

Last week at Twelve Trees care home,we had a wonderful time putting up our decorations and getting into the spring spirit 🌸🐣 , we did lots of one _ones with our residents as well as a trip for fish and chips just for the gentlemen 💙we hope everyone had a lovely Easter break!

Today on Bank holiday Monday, a few of our residents enjoyed a beautiful trip to Endcliffe park.The sun was shining ☀️making it a perfect day to relax outdoors ☀️We enjoyed coffee ☕️ and cake 🍰 in the sunshine,sharing smiles and special moments together.

Each resident also received a chocolate egg 🍫🐰
