Many members ask us when we do Incident Training towards the end of the weekly club pool session - "what's it like doing it in a competition?" . The attached video is from when the club went to The Netherlands to take part in the Eindhoven competition. 14 years ago.

It'd be great if we could muster teams together to take part in the 2027 competition and go back to Eindhoven. And vice-versa.

Happy New Year to everybody. The club resumed last night with a full house of members. It was great to see everybody after the Xmas break.

At tonight's club a massive congratulations, well done and much deserved for ARVIN HAMIDI (Seniors) and SOPHIA RUSEVA (Juniors) on being presented with their Swimmer of the Year 2025 Trophies.

A big thank you to ALL our members this year for their effort, commitment and diligence this year.

Wishing everybody a Merry Xmas and best wishes for a Happy New Year. 🎅🦌

After our sincere thanks to everybody that chose the club as their local cause; Erin, Noah and Chris went to the Crookes Co-op to do a cheque presentation at the invite of Co-op Team (Co-op Operations Manager in pic). We smashed the £2,000 and raised a whopping £2,269.35. All down to friends, family and outreach to everybody that chose us AND because every time you shopped and swiped your card at the checkout we got a "thank you" from the Co-op. Your continued support is vital.

A massive thank you to everybody that chose the club as their local cause and enabled us to get a whopping £2,000 towards new teaching and coaching equipment. What this will now enable the club to purchase new and vital teaching materials and equipment cannot be overstated. Since our move (a few years ago) to Graves the club has continued to expand and grow with ever more new members coming, joining and learning vital Water based rescue/safety and First-Aid/CPR. Without your support we wouldn't have been able to achieve this amazing award from the Co-op.

if you can....come and join us **this THURSDAY 20/11 at 16:30 ** at the Co-op on CROOKES "High Street" where we will get the chance to say thank you to you the local community and Co-op shoppers !!

A massive thank you to everybody that shopped at the Co-op and nominated us over the past 12 months as their local cause....

"Sheffield Lifesaving Club is immensely grateful to all the Co-op Members for their support over the past year. The funding raised is vital for the club to survive and enable it to buy vital teaching equipment. This ensures the club can continue to teach children and teenagers invaluable First-Aid/CPR and Water Based Safety/Rescue skills with all the latest teaching and coaching aids. The club is run wholly by volunteers and currently subscriptions cover the pool/venue hire when teaching. Thank you so much to all Co-op Members who chose us, this additional funding will make a massive difference to our teaching/coaching and enable us to continue to provide those vital life skills in the local community."

PLEASE NOTE NEXT WEEK (ONLY) -- 22/10

Just for this week ONLY due to a major tennis 🎾 tournament at Graves there will be NO dryside/classroom teaching. Therefore it’s only pool teaching from 20:00. Can all parents and members meet 30 minutes later than usual at the reception from 19:45. Thx.
