Been so busy having a litter of Weimeraners puppies that I have had little time to do anything else.
It has been so hard and so rewarding.
Lizzie our Weimararner was due puppies on 31 October however she had the best phantom pregnancy convincing herself us the vets and breeders!!!! Unfortunately the stud dog had testicular cancer and was why this match did not happen.
So we waited and got her a young chap Monty. And on the 16th March has 4 beautiful puppies, 3 girls and 1 boy, who was born dead, how we got him back into the world of living is nothing more than a miracle but we did it 🙏🏻💕
The 8 weeks that they were with their mum was the most amazing wonderful experience but also the most demanding times I have given up everything to spend 24/7 with the puppies and Mum and lived on 2 hours sleep per night.
Weimeraners are intelligent dogs also the cleanest and would cry at 3am as they had pooped on their mats and wanted it cleaned up as soon as it was cleaned up then they would get back into the cage and go to sleep!
They have all got beautiful new homes and as hard as it was to let them go it was a comfort knowing they were going to wonderful new families that adore and look after them.
We keep in touch and all are doing great.
We kept a girl, called Mo as she has a Mohican on her neck! And are in the process of training her and integrating her into our family.
Once she is a bit bigger and can go out I will be back to picking up the beauty side of things.
I am so greatly and blessed to have this experience that I count my blessings every day. Life is amazing so fragile and strong at the same time, it also goes by with a blink of an eye so if there is something that I have got out of this experience is to savour every single moment and thing, even the not so good as well,
as that too can be a lesson to you.
Life is but fleeting enjoy your moments and wonder at the miracle of life!
