Don’t wanna jynx it, but looking like a big break through on the knee-hab this week.

I’m convinced the 6 weeks of shockwave therapy at was the catalyst.

Helped break down years of scar tissue, meaning all the rehab work after was more effective.

Mild plyometrics pain free, short runs pain free, walking lunges pain free.

This is usually the point where I’d say f**k it let’s get stuck in with some max back squats then.

But I want/need these knees bulletproof. Spent too long in pain, giving 80%, worried about how they’ll be week after.

They warned me it would be a slow process. Underestimated it. Mind numbing tbh. Thought about jacking it in a couple times during some set backs.

Hyrox LDN in just under two months. Cutting it very fine. But I promised I’d be ready. He’s worked too hard this year for me to pull a sicky.

Back to work ⚔️

Circle got a little stronger this week ⭕️🔗

Major fomo seeing clients and friends at the Sheff 10k today. Massive well done to all. Special mention to . Went out for a sub 55. Clocked in at 47.45. 16kg down. Scary progress on the scales and streets.

Loved our chat with power couple, Katy & Joe. Thriving community, honest with the wins and losses, exciting things in the pipeline. Beasted by Joe afterwards for good measure.

Collaboration is king.

Just what we needed 😎

A well earned pit stop in what’s been a pretty intense year. Training, coaching & family life as full on as I can remember.

Fierce sessions, still pushing the boundaries of what my body is capable of. VO2 max at an all time high.

An exceptional bunch now at R5. Big group all hungry for success and to become the very best version of themselves. Awesome to see the weekly interactions inside our WhatsApp community.

Harlow extremely full on 😅 what a personality, what a character (I have to pinch myself she’s ours), but as all parents know it comes with bigger tantrums, testing of patience and more time away from other aspects of life.

Recharged, well rested, tonne of new ideas 📐

The message Abdul sent me this morning is why I absolutely love what I do…

There’s been some revelations. And training has changed in a BIG way…

After 15 years of ongoing knee issues, I finally got some answers.

An ultrasound scan revealed two major tears in both patella tendons.

A course of shockwave therapy prescribed over 6 weeks. And a painfully slow rehab program.

But, the good news it’s working 🙏🏼

3 weeks in and there’s less pain in my squat than ever before.

(Very surreal feeling after so many years fighting it)

The bit I’m most devo’d about, by far, is not being able to run. Dying to get out there.

Hoping to be out of the roads for small jogs in the next 8-10 weeks.

Anything with minimal knee bend that challenges me, I’m absolutely hammering.

The knees might be knackered but determined not to let the engine tank.

For now, it’s stick to the plan and wait for that 2.0 version on the other side.

Very excited to see what that looks like.

Gotta give a big shout out to for sorting the shoulder too.

Post 30, gotta love it 😅

Straight up stud 🐴🕺🏻 Scroll for a great account from on his journey.

Avoiding the gym at peak times. Worried AF he would embarrass himself. Leaving the early up to his eyeballs in anxiety.

To looking and performing like the gym final boss 🎯

We tweaked the program several times to keep him in that zone. Keep the anxiety at bay. Motivation to show up super high.

This one’s been one hell of a journey, but we did mate 🫡

Truth be told, Paul didn’t ask for this…

He actually asked me to make him stronger after spinning his wheels in the gym for a few years. Which over the past 8 weeks we’ve been somewhat successful at…

65kg ⬆️ on deadlifts
25kg ⬆️ on bench press
25kg ⬆️ on back squats.

But when you start paying attention to the endless minutia in every lift, performing exercises with perfect technique and program workouts with the sole aim of getting stronger… it’s amazing how muscle responds differently too.

Visually, most won’t see this progress in a year, let alone 8 weeks, simply because the fundamentals of lifting aren’t there.

Great physiques are built from the ground up, and that all starts with learning how to lift. Which for some, who may consider themselves experienced lifters after a few years in the gym, may be quite a humbling experience experience.

But if you can be willing to take a step or two back, you might even up three or four forwards.
