Neither of us could hit that top gear. Kicked our ass start to finish tbh.

We had a time in mind but fell well short. It’s a PB on the pros circuit. But we can do a lot better than this.

Re-do in London in March. Work to do.

Another top bloke ending the year on a high ✊🏼

I’d love to tell you this was an agonisingly painful process.

Reserved for those with unwavering levels of discipline.

Truth is, the majority of people have got this in them.

Alex made plenty of mistakes. Loads of slip ups. Over did it on trips away. Took a while for things to change early on.

And when you work with gen-pop clients as opposed to athletes, this is part of the journey.

The secret to Alex’s success though was quite simple.

Small but manageable tweaks over many months.

Calorie target. Protein intake. Water. Cardio output. Exercise ex*****on. Recovery. All tackled one by one.

Inevitably, the first few dominoes were the hardest to knock down. But once they fell, the momentum builds and the magic unfolds.

If there’s any doubt in your mind that you can’t do something similar next year, I promise, with the right guidance, you can.

Massive well done to Alex 👏🏼 awesome work mate.

Another one of those people you coach, whose work rate and commitment are felt and absorbed.

Start to finish Greg’s been one of those who I’ve drawn inspiration from. Made me work harder. Made me question whether I’m doing enough.

The rebuild has not been rushed ⚒️

I was ready to pack in running for good.

The pain wasn’t worth the reward.

Private specialists. Physios. Team GB cycling doctor.

None of them had any answers as to why my knees were f@€ked.

Sat at my desk and they’re on fire, leaving the cinema because they’ve seized up, pretending I need a 💦 so I can pull into a service station and walk around.

Not being able to train legs is one thing, effecting quality of life is another.

7 months with and they not only diagnosed it but have got them 85% there.

Shockwave therapy, PRP and a solid rehab plan.

Can’t thank these guys enough. Feels great to be back running pain free.

15% to go, big plans for 2026 ✊🏼

Not our best but a decent weekend in the capital 😎

Inspiring watching do singles on Saturday, straight into doubles on Sunday.

He dropped in last minute and didn’t disappoint.

This was the first hurdle to see if the knees are race ready. They made it round, but took a battering on the BBJ’s. Everything at 70% there after. Positives are they’re not far off.

Great to have the support team out in full force too, and big H ♥️

Nice surprise bumping into , class time as always mate 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

Halves, Hyrox’s and Underwater Hockey. Everyone came for the W this weekend 🏆

knocking 9mins off his time from last year. Improved running through mobility work, speed drills and plyometrics the keys 🔑

finally hitting a sub 2 hour PB - she went through the wars with illness and injury but after 2 cancelled events, she’s back in the game 🏃🏻‍♂️

putting his new and improved strength and endurance to good use taking first and second place in recent events with Manchester UWH team.

Georgey boy coming through with the goods 👏🏼

Some serious graft gone into this one. Looks the dogs 👌🏼👌🏼 and performance on another level.

Lifting heavy, moving quick, more mobile than ever.

Came with its challenges - pulled back, twisted ankles, and George’s love for beer 😅

But we adapted the program, kicked on where most would have crumbled, factored in socials along the way.

Lots achieved already, but he’s hungry for more.

Don’t wanna jynx it, but looking like a big break through on the knee-hab this week.

I’m convinced the 6 weeks of shockwave therapy at was the catalyst.

Helped break down years of scar tissue, meaning all the rehab work after was more effective.

Mild plyometrics pain free, short runs pain free, walking lunges pain free.

This is usually the point where I’d say f**k it let’s get stuck in with some max back squats then.

But I want/need these knees bulletproof. Spent too long in pain, giving 80%, worried about how they’ll be week after.

They warned me it would be a slow process. Underestimated it. Mind numbing tbh. Thought about jacking it in a couple times during some set backs.

Hyrox LDN in just under two months. Cutting it very fine. But I promised I’d be ready. He’s worked too hard this year for me to pull a sicky.

Back to work ⚔️
