🎉 Game Friday Fun! 🏒🎈
What a fantastic day of energy, laughter, and friendly competition! This morning kicked off with an exciting hockey game 🔴 Team Reds vs 🟡 Team Yellow. From the very first whistle, the room was buzzing with joy and team spirit.
The fun didn’t stop there! This afternoon brought even more excitement with our Balloon Tennis match 🎈🏓 The atmosphere was absolutely electric, filled with cheers, big smiles, and plenty of laughter from start to finish.
A brilliant day all around full of movement, happiness, and great memories! 💫

Today our home was represented at the Walk of Witness in Shefford by John, Jayne, and Kelly ✝️ It was such a meaningful way to stand together in faith and community 🤍
We then continued to mark Good Friday with a service, taking time to remember the true reason for this day 🙏

Our residents had a blast this morning 🎉 mixing up a storm 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳. From crunchy chocolate mini egg cakes 🍫🥚🧁 to golden hot cross buns 🍞✨, we’ve been busy preparing delicious treats for everyone in the home to enjoy.
A massive thank you to our wonderful residents 💛 for keeping us all well-fed today 😋. We also made sure to practice good hand hygiene throughout 🧼🤲, helping keep everyone safe, clean, and healthy 😊.

Life at MHA Oak Manor Care Home

Purpose built and opened in November 2017, Oak Manor care home sits on the outskirts of Shefford.

Specially designed, every detail of the home’s layout is created to enhance the independence and dignity of residents. Oak Manor is a 64 bedroom care home that provides residential and residential dementia specialist care with features such as an on-site hairdressers, cinema room and coffee shop.

In common with all MHA Homes, Oak Manor is committed to providing alternative therapies such as music therapy to residents, while our Chaplain offers pastoral support to all, whatever their beliefs.
