Behind the mist,⁣

A bright shining sun,⁣
Offering light and room⁣

To be grateful,⁣
For those who stand for good.⁣
Who stand for those,⁣
Who are misunderstood.⁣

This solstice morn⁣
I sit and reflect, ⁣
On a year cycle⁣
With little regret.⁣

The challenges we face⁣
Are many and cruel,⁣
Retaining faith,⁣
that those who rule,⁣
