As we are approaching environment day, we thought we could give a shout out to one of our favourite Eco friendly brands at the store🥰 Bird Eyewear

Bird Eye wear was founded by Devon based brother duo Ed & Lawrence Bird

If you didn't already know, all acetate is plant based as cellulose is derived from plant cells. However to achieve the material we know, crude oil is typically used, (those poor dinosaurs!🦖) Bird Eyewear's bio-acetate is manufactured using cellulose and plant-based oils instead for a truly nature based product.

They wanted to give back to nature for the carbon they were using so Team Bird set out to plant their very own Bird Forest with team tree planting days in Exeter, Newton Abbot, Bodmin, and many more to come!
