Wimbledon Masters here she comes! After major surgery following a periprosthetic femur fracture and one year on from limping with a crutch, this patient is playing tennis as part of her rehab 🎾. Anna is a fantastic physiotherapist bringing her experience of working alongside some of London's top orthopedic surgeons at Guy's and St Thomas's and St George's NHS hospitals to our clinic in Shepperton. Do you know what your running shoe wear patterns mean? If you're a sunny 🌞 weather runner or a regular you'll know how much more fun it is to run without injuries and ni**les. Do you know your running shoes hold important clues to your performance, gait and loading as you run?

The graphic shows how you can identify where you distribute your weight as you run. Running wear patterns are entirely normal and helpful, they can tell you quite a bit about your individual running style.

If you're managing a ni**le or looking to buy a new pair of runners, inspecting your current trainers can give you an insight into your running biomechanics - and this info can help you choose the right trainer fit for you or be a starting point to managing any ni**les.
