A mobile sauna company dedicated to the collaboration, practice and sharing of sauna. Regular community sessions in South West UK

The Rambling Hearth sauna was created by brothers Oliver and Henry Hall, built by Oliver’s sauna company Sauna Craft. We are based around Bristol, Bath and Somerset, but being a mobile sauna we are able to travel to various locations. 🪵 WOODCHIP UPDATE 🪵

Big thanks to Toby the tree surgeon for swooping in with a mighty load of woodchip for our wild sauna and lake paths! 🌲✨

We love grounding and feeling the earth beneath our feet… but with all this rain lately, it’s been feeling a bit less “wholesome nature vibes” and a bit more “squelching our way to the sauna.” 😅

So this woodchip delivery is a dream come true for our toes. 👣

It’s been a gorgeous year for the Rambling Hearth. We’re full bellied after a spring and summer of festival adventures and having built a wholesome, blooming sauna community on Higher Farm

🔥 So we are extending our Sunday session hours until late on the Winter Solstice, bringing to you encompassing heat from the sauna hearth and a central outside fire to gather around. We will serve nourishing dhal, hot drinks and cake 🔥

Cooling down between sitting in the sauna is part of the experience. We’ve got the pleasure of providing you with a wild cold plunge experience, using the lake at Higher Farm (BA4), and our bespoke showers.

❄️ 💦 So which will you choose? An exhilarating dip in the lake or a rinse with our bespoke hand built showers? Or, simply sit back in one of the chairs and let the cool air bring your temperature down 🌬️💨💨

Do what works for you, take it at your own pace and really feel the benefit from transitioning between hot and cold.

This lake is a hidden Somerset gem💎
Fear not, there is no agricultural run off, no clumps of weeds in the water to tickle at your feet, there’s a very sturdy ladder to get into the lake, and the water has been tested (it’s a clean bean)

🍂 With the exciting news of our autumn and winter residency at Higher Farm, we are now looking sauna staff!

🔥 About the role 🔥
- Shifts available:
Friday 1pm-6pm
Saturdays 8am-4.30pm
Sundays 9.15am-6pm
- Shifts and hours are flexible. No staff member is expected to do all 3 (unless you want to!)
- Shifts to be arranged 2 weeks-1 month in advance
- Beginning early November
- Shifts involve keeping sauna, showers and surrounding area clean & tidy, checking in the customers, managing the fire and heat, delivering an enjoyable sauna experience, keeping everything topped up and an eye on stock, taking payments for sauna and swimming customers, making simple hot drinks, sprucing the bathroom block and chatting to the lovely customers
- It’s a nice balance of active and chill work and you get to know the many regulars and people who work on the farm

Higher Farm is a gorgeous Somerset location, nestled in a hill and overlooking the Glastonbury Tor. Surrounded by nature and wildlife, it’s a tranquil environment to be. Staff have their own little shelter, access to hot water, and get to provide a magical sauna experience for guests.
