We are getting lots of phone calls regarding Meningitis vaccinations. Here is some useful information as per the UK Health Security Agency & UK Government Guidance:

💉All children under 2years old will be offered at least 2 MenB vaccinations. Over 2years old are NOT eligible.

💉Children aged 14-15years will be offered MenACWY at school - administered by the School Immunisation team.

💉Under 25's remain eligible for MenACWY (until their 25th birthday). Please contact the surgery if you would like to have this vaccination.

💉Over 25 years - NOT eligible

💉If you would like to have a vaccine but do not meet the criteria, please speak to your local pharmacy who may be able to offer this privately as we cannot offer this at the surgery.

To make sure you have everything you need, please remember to order any prescriptions required over Easter by Thursday 26th March.
Ordering early will help us ensure your medication is ready in time for the holiday weekend.

‼️‼️‼️Dispensary Notice ‼️‼️‼️
Due to flooding caused by Storm Chandra, we are currently very short-staffed and one of our dispensary colleagues is working on her own.
For this reason, the dispensary will be closed between 12:00pm and 2:30pm, and during this time you won’t be able to order or collect prescriptions.
We’re really sorry for the inconvenience and truly appreciate your patience and kindness while we do our best under difficult circumstances. Thank you for your understanding 💙

We’re looking for a **Part-Time Dispenser** to join our friendly team at Yetminster Health Centre.

Working Mondays and Thursdays, you will play a key part in supporting patients by dispensing medications accurately, managing stock, and working closely with the clinical team in a welcoming rural practice.

**We’re looking for someone who:**
Is a qualified Dispenser (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) **or**
Is enthusiastic, reliable, and keen to learn (full training provided)
Has good attention to detail and a friendly manner

We appear to have all of our systems back up and running! Again, please bear with us whilst we play catch up.
If your call or need isn’t urgent, it would be helpful if you called later or even tomorrow.
As you may know, our phone system has a ‘call back’ facility. This may not be working correctly as we had that outage. You may have connected to the cloud based system and requested a call back, but it may not have registered as we were offline. If you’re expecting a call back, please try phoning again.

We appear to have lost all internet connection at the surgery. That will affect us accessing medical records and stop certain phone linked services. Please bear with us whilst our IT look at the problem

Important service update: Internet outage impacting access and phone lines.
We are still experiencing a major internet outage, which is unlikely to be resolved by Tuesday 25th November. This is affecting our clinical systems and is limiting us to one incoming phone line. As a result, we may not be able to answer calls as quickly as we would like. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
If your query is not urgent, please consider calling later in the week or booking a routine GP appointment via the NHS App or through our website using SystmOne Online (if you have access).
If you have an urgent medical issue that cannot wait, please come directly to the Surgery from 8am and use our sit and wait service. A GP will see you as soon as they are able. Please be aware that there will be a wait whilst we ensure each patient is seen safely with the limited resources we have available.
Our Dispensary phone line is open between 9am and 10am. Please note that we currently have only one working phone line in the Dispensary. Where possible, please order prescriptions using online services. Prescription collection is running as usual and should be ready if you have received a ‘ready to collect’ text.
