Have you booked your flu vaccination yet? We have a few appointments left in our clinics on Thursday & Saturday this week - for eligible patients only. If you have received an invite but haven't booked, give us a ring today to book.

For those who have booked, please wear suitable clothing so that the clinician can easily and quickly access your upper arm. The car park does get busy so please consider walking if you are able.

Don't forget, the ‘Access Wellbeing Community Drop-In’ at The Digby Hall is available to you each week. This is a provision from Dorset Healthcare in collaboration with Dorset MIND.

The Community Drop-In is open to anyone over 18 years, to speak to someone about their general wellbeing, so anything that could be affecting their mental health.

No appointments necessary. Patients will see a Wellbeing Coordinator from Dorset MIND who will offer them support and/or signpost them onto other relevant services.

🚴 Dr Liz Long and her ever faithful wing woman Sarah Barnes are offering another guided ride this October open to women and men, to help get you back into cycling, or back on your bike through the autumn.

🚴‍♂️The ride is 16 miles of quiet back lanes on a circular route from Grassroots Garden Centre and Cafe just north of Stalbridge - starting at 12.30pm on Friday 24th October - trying a Friday to see if this suits more people.

Do we hold your most up-to-date mobile and email address? You can check in your NHS App by going to your account - settings - contact & login details.

We use text & email where possible (unless you've told us not to) as it's much more efficient for us and convenient for patients. We still phone patients & will will write to you if we can't get hold of you any other way. With rising postal costs, we will try multiple times to contact you by other means first.
