this bank holiday weekend. Do not attend A&E unless you've had an Accident or you have a real Emergency. If you are unsure, call 111 and they will triage your symptoms & advise you of the most appropriate service. If they feel you need to see a GP and it cannot wait, they will arrange an appointment with an out of hours GP.

‼️‼️

There is a Dorset wide issue with our computers currently. We can access our systems however, it's very slow, and certain things such as writing referrals, using the self check-in screen etc is not currently possible.
Please bear with us. Our IT department are working hard behind the scenes to fix it.

💉

We have started sending invites out to our Flu & Covid Clinics which are this year being help at The Digby Hall on Thursday 16th October & Saturday 18th October. Please wait for your invite as we are trying to keep the disruption to our phone lines minimal to ensure that patients needing medical help can get through. For patients who only have a landline, or who have told us you cannot use booking links, we have you on a list and you will be called over the coming weeks.
We have plenty of appointments and we will get to you in time.

Our online booking system does get a little overwhelmed by the amount of patients trying to book at the same time which is why we stagger the invites. If you get a message stating there are no appointments, please try again a little later when less patients are booking. We have tested the links, they do work and patients are booking in.

We can only vaccinate eligible patients. Those not eligible but wanting a vaccination can approach a pharmacy and pay for a private vaccination.

Eligibility can be found here for Flu: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/national-flu-immunisation-programme-plan-2025-to-2026/national-flu-immunisation-programme-2025-to-2026-letter

Eligibility for the covid booster can be found here: https://ukhsa.blog.gov.uk/2025/06/26/whos-eligible-for-the-2025-covid-19-vaccine-or-autumn-booster/

We have over 6000 patients to invite so please be patient & bear with us.

We are seeing an increase in patients & potentially nearby residents due to the time of day it's happening, parking on the double yellow lines as you turn into our entrance.

Please do not park on the entrance to our car park. It is a NO PARKING ZONE; it is unsafe and it restricts access for our patients/ambulances etc. At times, cars are parked almost on the corner so when you turn into the surgery you have to swerve to avoid a collision.
Whilst we know that parking can be a challenge at times, that's no excuse for poor/illegal parking.

Thank you for your understanding.
