“PCOS, Endometriosis, Heavy Periods… Your Body Isn’t Broken — It’s Asking for Support.” When Your Hormones Feel Out of Balance

If you’re living with PCOS, endometriosis, heavy periods, or irregular cycles, you’ll know that it’s not just about your hormones.

It can feel like your body is constantly trying to tell you something…
through fatigue, pain, anxiety, mood changes, or cycles that never quite settle.

As a reflexologist working with women’s health, I see how deeply hormonal health is connected to the nervous system, stress levels, and overall balance in the body.

Reflexology gently works with the body’s own communication systems.
By supporting relaxation and calming the nervous system, it can help encourage better hormonal balance and a greater sense of ease within your cycle.

Many women say they notice:
• calmer, more regulated cycles
• reduced stress and tension
• improved sleep
• a deeper sense of connection with their bodies

Because when the body feels safe and supported, it often finds its way back towards balance.

If you’re navigating PCOS, endometriosis, heavy bleeding, or unpredictable cycles, know that you don’t have to manage it alone.

🌿 Your body deserves gentle support.

Menopause, Anxiety & Finding Calm

Menopause can feel like a storm in the body and mind.

Many women tell me they suddenly feel more anxious, overwhelmed or on edge, even if anxiety has never really been part of their story before. Hormonal shifts can affect the nervous system, sleep, mood and that sense of inner steadiness we rely on.

It can leave you feeling like your body is running the show… and you’re just trying to keep up.

From a women’s health therapy perspective, one of the most helpful things we can do during this phase is support the nervous system.

When the body is under stress, the nervous system moves into a more alert, protective state. But when we gently guide the body back into deep relaxation, we activate the vagus nerve — the pathway that helps signal safety, calm and balance throughout the body.

And when the nervous system settles, the hormonal system is better supported too.

This is exactly why I created my Deep Relaxation Audio.

It’s a gentle guided relaxation designed to:
• Calm the nervous system
• Encourage vagal tone and relaxation
• Help the body soften out of that anxious, wired feeling

You can download it for free from my website — the link is in my bio.

Think of it as a small pocket of calm for the days when your body feels a little unfamiliar.

Menopause is a powerful transition… but you don’t have to navigate it feeling overwhelmed.

✨ Affirmation:
My body is changing, but it is still wise. I allow calm to return and trust my body to find balance.

I know it’s the 8th and I’m a little slow off the start but this is a lovely image…. March arrives with a quiet shift in the air.

The days are a little lighter, the mornings a little brighter, and there’s a gentle sense of warmth beginning to return.

Spring reminds us that change doesn’t have to be rushed.
Growth can be slow, steady, and unfolding in its own time.

As we step into this new month, may it bring you moments of lightness, fresh energy, and space to breathe.

✨ This month, I welcome light, warmth and new beginnings.

🌿 International Women’s Day

Today is a celebration of women everywhere — their strength, their resilience, their courage, and their capacity to keep going even when life feels incredibly heavy.

In my work as a women’s health therapist, I have the privilege of sitting alongside women in some of the most tender and vulnerable moments of their lives.
Women navigating fertility journeys, pregnancy after loss, hormonal changes, miscarriage, menopause, and everything in between.

What I see every single day is this:
Women are far stronger than they often give themselves credit for.

Even in uncertainty.
Even in grief.
Even in waiting.

So today feels like a beautiful moment to pause and honour yourself — not just for the visible achievements, but for the quiet strength it takes to keep moving forward.

✨ If no one has told you recently: you are doing enough, and you are more than enough.

Affirmation for today:
I honour my body, my journey, and the quiet strength within me.

Happy International Women’s Day 💚

Menopause isn’t a single moment in time.
It’s a transition — and for many women it can feel like their body and emotions are suddenly unfamiliar.

From perimenopause right through to post-menopause, reflexology offers a gentle, steadying support.

As a reflexologist, I often see women who are experiencing:

• Hot flushes and night sweats
• Anxiety or sudden dips in confidence
• Broken sleep
• Mood changes or irritability
• Brain fog and poor concentration
• Hormonal headaches
• Feeling overwhelmed in their own skin

Menopausal reflexology works by supporting the nervous system and encouraging balance within the endocrine (hormone) system. By applying precise pressure to reflex points on the feet, we help calm the stress response and create space for the body to regulate more naturally.

Many women tell me they feel:

• Deeply relaxed for the first time in weeks
• More emotionally steady
• Sleeping more soundly
• Clearer in their thinking
• Better able to cope with daily pressures

Perhaps most importantly, they feel listened to and supported during a chapter of life that is often brushed aside.

Menopause is not something to “just get through”. It’s a powerful transition. With the right support, it can also be a time of clarity, strength and renewed self-awareness.

If you’re navigating perimenopause, menopause or life beyond it and would like calm, knowledgeable support, you’re very welcome to get in touch.

Your body is not working against you. It’s asking to be supported.

No one talks enough about pregnancy anxiety.

The racing thoughts before scans.
The Googling at 2am.
The physical discomfort that makes everything feel heavier.

Even when your baby is deeply wanted, worry can still show up.

That doesn’t make you negative.
It makes you human.

I’ve created gentle self-help hypnosis recordings for:

🤍 First trimester support
🤍 Second trimester calm
🤍 Deep relaxation at any stage

They’re downloadable, so you can listen at home whenever anxiety rises or your body needs to soften. See link in Bio.
Pregnancy is a season of change. You deserve support through all of it.

🤍 Fertility Journey Affirmation 🤍

I remind myself today that nothing about me is broken.
My body has been doing its very best for a very long time.

This journey has asked so much of me —
patience, resilience, hope, and courage.
It’s okay that I feel tired.
It’s okay that I feel overwhelmed.
It’s okay to rest.

I give myself permission to soften.
To release the pressure, the timelines,
and the constant questioning of when.

My body responds to kindness.
My nervous system settles with calm.
And each time I choose compassion,
I create more space for balance and ease.

I don’t need to force or fix anything today.
Right now, my only job is to breathe
and trust that I am being supported.

I am more than this journey.
I am worthy of gentleness, care and hope —
exactly as I am, in this moment.

✨ I am safe to soften.
✨ I am allowed to trust my body.
✨ I am not alone 🩷
