2026 is a special year for us at Girlings as we 25 years in and 15 years in

See this month’s Sherborne Times, as Nicola Girling looks back on 25 years as a family business, from qualifying as an audiologist in 1986 to returning home to Dorset with Ian (also an audiologist) and their young family to set up an independent hearing practice. They chose Sherborne’s Swan Yard as their base, opening in 2001, offering a full range of hearing care, including the latest technology in hearing aids.

This was followed by the launch of their Fordingbridge clinic in 2011, serving a wide area in Hampshire. Little did they know then that their son Dan would also choose to join the family business in 2017, becoming a fully qualified dispenser in 2019, and now much valued by clients.
