Within ‘Mindfit Yorkshire’, I’m often asked What is Mental Health ?
Mental health refers specifically to our emotional, psychological, and social wellbeing. It affects how we think, feel, and behave in everyday life. Good mental health allows us to manage stress, maintain positive relationships, make confident decisions, and enjoy life.
Everyone's mental health can fluctuate, and it is normal to experience stress, worry, or low moods at times. Supporting mental health involves recognising our emotions, seeking help from people like myself when needed , and developing coping strategies to maintain balance.
