We cannot wait to see the VERY best of Sherburn in Elmet at Eversley Park Sherburn Bears ARLFC on Saturday 9th August from 10am!!

Here is a rundown of what you can expect //

⭐️ The return of the legandary Rugby League All Stars captained by WAGGA alongside Adrian Morley

⭐️ Yorkshire’s FINEST man in rugby league, Mr Jamie-Jones Buchanan as our number one emcee

⭐️ Your favouirte and most loveable mascot, Ronnie the Rhino

⭐️ Warm up junior games from our hosts the Sherburn Bear Juniors

⭐️ Entertainment from the amazing BLDC Dances are incredible Compass Martial Arts

⭐️ Food, face-painting, hair braiding, ice cream, bouncy castles, lots of prizes and LOADS of fun for all the family to enjoy!!

We are incredibly proud and honoured to be fundraising once again for Life For a Kid, led by Dean HoggardBem, who dedicates his tireless work to raising money for lifesaving operations and vital equipment for children in Britain — equipment and treatments not funded by the NHS. 🏆

It’s a true pleasure to introduce James Parkinson, our Rugby League All Stars, who lives with extra special needs, including Autism. James is at the heart of what this cause is all about ❤️

Every penny raised on Saturday, 9th August Sherburn Bears ARLFC will go directly to Life For a Kid, helping them continue their amazing work supporting children and families across the UK.

We have SO much lined up this year — so please, if you’re able, give generously and help us make a real difference!

We’ve lost track of the table but what’s for certain is that THIS YEAR is the one that really matters!

Gathering in loving memory of Steve ‘Scrapper’ Carter on the 10th Anniversary of his passing, it’s safe to say that Scrapper’s Select will be BRINGING IT to the Rugby League All Stars ⭐️

And bring it they better had because Wagga backed by Adrian Morley and the rest of the rugby league legends are ready as ever to run a few rings around Sherburn 💪

In just THREE more Saturdays it will be 9th August and Scrapper’s Cup 2025 🥳🏆Sherburn Bears ARLFC Sherburn in Elmet

This year is extra special as it marks 10 years since we lost the legend Steve ‘Scrapper’ Carter and we couldn’t be more proud to be taking on the Rugby League All Stars and raising much needed funds for Life For a Kid all in his big beautiful memory 😇

We are confirming our junior games so the morning is TBC HOWEVER…

From 12noon we welcome Mr Jamie Jones-Buchanan, Ronnie the Rhino plus routines from Compass Martial Arts and the BLDC Dancers 🥳

Scrapper’s Select Vs All Stars will kick off at 1pm

We also have bouncy castles, raffle, tombola, ice cream, face painting, hair braiding & more so please make sure you head down for a day full of fun to raise funds for a wonderful cause 💜

In just FOUR weeks TODAY we will be welcoming everyone in Sherburn in Elmet to Scrapper’s Cup 2025 🏆

We are so proud to announce that in addition to the amazing dancers at the BLDC🕺🏼💃we will also be welcoming Compass Martial Arts to perform throughout the event!

A second home to many World Champions & British Champions, Compass Martial Arts teaches a range of skills including traditional Wado Ryu Karate, Light Contact Kickboxing, Tae Kwon-Do, Xtreme Forms, Xtreme Musical Forms, Martial Box Light and Weaponrywe! With talented martial artists ranging from 6 to 55 years old we cannot be prouder to have the team join us! Compass will also have a stand at the event so if you have any questions head down to Eversley Park to meet the team 🥋

Our special event started as a small memorial game in loving memory of Steve ‘Scrapper’ Carter and since then we’ve grown into a popular fundraising event showcasing our amazing community so please make sure you head down to Eversley Park Sherburn Bears ARLFC Sherburn in Elmet from 10am on Saturday 9th August!

We are beyond proud to be raising funds at Scrapper’s Cup 2025 for Life For a Kid who support children in Britain who have an extra special need like our Jack the Warrior 💙✨

Thanks to the generosity and spirit of our amazing community in Sherburn in Elmet we’ve managed to raise over £35,000 for numerous British charities despite everyone having their own hardships through covid, cost of living crisis the lists really does go on!

To all our supporters, your kindness, time, and dedication have made a real difference and we can’t wait to bring you the biggest and best edition for 2025 with our pals the Rugby League All Stars👏
