Super tasty lasagne!

Food prep in one dish

Served with salad 💯 on plan.

Using spreadable lighter melted in a saucepan with a water and fresh chopped garlic, thickened with cornflour paste, makes a super tasty cheese sauce 😋 ( I use 2 whole pots in my 6 portion lasagne plus 2 servings of cared low fat cheddar sprinkles in the top. 6 healthy extras in total)

So this is what I personally have tried and tested to maintain my target weight on …

1. Pre-log Syns before eating—stops accidental daily creep.
2. Weigh HEA as you buy them, removes temptation to sneak in extras!
3. Freeze leftovers immediately; removes temptation for seconds.
4. Use smaller plates; visual fullness reduces overeating.
5. Set a weekly “maintenance range,” not one target weight.
6. Allow yourself treats, but draw the line once consumed! 💪

My truth: maintaining weight loss is tougher than losing 10.5 stone naturally. Loose skin will be my forever hang up, But, a gain isn't always negative - I'm committed to being a Target member!

My goal 🎯 is to become a 💎 diamond member by staying in my target zone for a year. I'm also focusing on body composition, building muscle without gaining weight. And, my waist is the smallest it's been since high school - over 40 years ago! 🙌

So what I’m trying to say is I honestly feel like my journey of what I’ve actually been working towards has just begun. I’m at a healthy target weight no bull #$*% BMI fixation! Dress size 10/12 👗 👙

Chair exercises, bicep curls, leg raises, shoulder press anything at all you can do, just start!

I really did believe I couldn’t exercise, needing two new knees and potentially now a hip.
Boy 10 years ago I was a runner, 3-5k on a regular basis, and gym goer!

How did I go from over 22 stone to a regular gym goer and swimmer?

I started with chair exercises, so determined to lose weight, get my life back and feel well!

10 minutes every other day became 35 minutes every day within weeks, as I lost weight I could move more. I lost 4 stone then joined the gym.

I was terrified of failure, of what other people thought, of getting in a swimsuit. One day I just thought F& it! I want this for me, I deserve this !

I did it, no one gave a s**t! I’ve never looked back.
If you can move a limb, you can exercise.
From bicep curls with a can of beans, to stand up sit downs, raising one leg then the other sat in a chair 🪑 what ever you can do, just do it.

Did it hurt , absolutely, like hell

Does it still hurt, yes some days it does, but in a really good way. I still struggle to walk any distance but I can now do 5 flights of stairs without stopping at work. (coming down is agony on my knees so I still take the lift)

I lift weights, incline walk, swim hard and I feel alive.

If I can, you can! 💪 🙌
Just do it!
