Our Care Professional Josie Haigh volunteered at our local MHA group today, every Tuesday MHA Communities Shifnal & District host a dementia club. This includes activities, teas and coffees, biscuits and a lovely dinner. Today they played music bingo, had a sing along, enjoyed a lovely dinner and most importantly... enjoyed each others company.

This amazing group of volunteers change lives daily, by providing a place of comfort and company for vulnerable seniors in our community.

But why is it so important to have volunteers?
Without volunteers this club would not be able to function, the volunteers are the heart of this foundation. Whether this be drivers collecting people, helping with the food or organising games. Every little helps! 💛

Our Care Professional Ella Gold attended another successful morning for Compton Care Albrighton, their coffee morning raised an amazing £220.48. All proceeds will support local people and their families living with life limiting conditions💛

Last month we also celebrated Kelly's 5 year anniversary at the company! Kelly really is gold standard, with her exceptional work ethic and loving nature you find it hard not to love Kelly! All our service users thanked Kelly with little messages in her card!

Last Wednesday we had the opportunity to understand what our local MHA group does for our community. We have seen first hand the effect that this organisation has on individuals, so was pleased to gather a further understanding of all they have to offer.

MHA aims to:
- Reduce social isolation
- Enable older people to maintain their independence
- Improved health and wellbeing
- Help people to live securely
- Build strong, connected communities that care.
