Thank you to everyone who came along to our very first Bereavement Café. It was truly lovely to see so many people there, sharing a cup of tea, conversation, and supporting one another.

We look forward to seeing you again at the next one.

Through an exclusive partnership, along with our long-standing friends and colleagues, Perry & Phillips Funeral Directors, Bridgnorth, we are delighted to be able to offer private use of one of Shropshire’s most prestigious venues for funeral services. Set within unspoilt countryside, Stockton House, Norton provides far-reaching views across the Shropshire landscape, creating a peaceful and reflective setting in which to say goodbye.

This package combines privacy, elegance, and flexibility, providing a dignified farewell in a setting of exceptional natural beauty.

We are always looking for ways to make every service as personal and meaningful as possible.

We’re delighted to share that we’ve taken delivery of the new Obitus Lite Audio Visual system.

This gives us access to an extensive library of recorded music, including choral settings and organ recordings of traditional hymns, ideal for churches without an organist or for smaller, more intimate services. It can also be used in cemeteries and churchyards.

More importantly, the system will allow us to offer professionally produced photographic tributes in churches and private venues with appropriate screens. This gives families greater flexibility to create truly personalised services, with no time restrictions, in places that hold special memories and meaning.

Every life is unique, and we are committed to helping you reflect that in every detail.

Please get in touch if you would like to discuss the options available.

This morning, challenging weather made an already difficult time even harder for many families. We would like to publicly thank our incredible staff, who worked tirelessly in the snow and freezing conditions to clear paths, prepare our premises, and ensure funerals could go ahead with dignity and care.

Their dedication, loyalty, and commitment meant families were able to say goodbye to their loved ones without disruption. We are deeply proud of our team and grateful for the compassion they show every day, no matter what the circumstances.

“Serving families with dignity, care and a committed team.”

Today, we light a candle in remembrance of those we no longer see, but who live on in our hearts and memories this Christmas.

We hope this poem, written for our Memorial Carol Services, brings you comfort and quiet reflection in the days ahead.

We felt incredibly honoured to welcome nearly 300 people to our Memorial Carol Services at Telford Crematorium this month. We truly hope that joining together as a community, at what can be such a difficult time for so many, brought comfort to all who attended in person or on-line.

A short video of the service held on 16th December can be viewed below, including extracts of the messages of comfort delivered by our celebrants and the blessing given to all those being remembered at this time of year by the Revd Prebendary Chris Thorpe.

We extend our sincere thanks to all who led or took part in the services and to everyone who attended. Your generous donations raised over £500 for the Lingen Davies Cancer Support and Dementia UK .
