This week, we’ve seen a number of men walk through our doors some for the very first time and that means more than words can say.

Each step through that door takes courage. For some, it’s the first time they’ve opened up about how they feel. For others, it’s the start of finding connection, understanding, and a safe space to just be.

To every man who showed up thank you.

To those who listened, supported, or simply sat in the room thank you.

And to our facilitators who make these spaces possible every single week we couldn’t do this without you. 💙

Week after week, we’re reminded that small steps lead to big change.

Keep showing up, keep talking, and keep looking out for one another.

Taking Men’s Health to Lidl Warehouse

Last week, Chris spent the day at Lidl Warehouse with the ManHealth stand, opening up conversations about peer support, men’s mental health, and workplace wellbeing training.

It was a fantastic day connecting with staff and colleagues talking honestly about the challenges men face, and how powerful it can be to simply talk. The engagement, openness, and genuine interest from everyone who stopped by meant so much. 💙

A huge thank you to Lidl for welcoming us into your workplace and for recognising the importance of men’s mental health in everyday working life. It’s through partnerships like these that we can keep raising awareness and making a real difference one conversation at a time.

Because when men talk, things change. 👏

Next week we see International Men's Day and to begin the count down today, we would like to celebrate all our men.

Every man who has walked through the doors of a ManHealth group with courage, honesty, and hope. Every conversation shared, every story told, every moment of silence that spoke louder than words. You remind us daily that strength isn’t about silence, it’s about showing up.

To our incredible facilitators who give their time, compassion, and energy week after week we simply couldn’t do this without you. You create safe spaces where men feel seen, heard, and supported. You are the heart of what we do.

To the men who keep talking, even when it’s hard thank you. You’re changing lives, not just your own, but those around you too. You’re breaking the cycle for future generations.

International Men’s Day is about celebrating you and your resilience, your kindness, your humour, your strength, and your humanity.

From all of us at ManHealth, thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we’re proving that when men talk, things change. 💙

If you are struggling, looking for connection, need to talk or just be around people who understand you our next Group is Thursday at Bishop Auckland or Hartlepool.

Saturday’s Strictly Step by Step event at the Dolphin Centre in Darlington was nothing short of spectacular a night filled with sparkle, stories, and a shared purpose to raising awareness for men’s mental health.

We heard some incredibly inspiring stories from charities doing life changing work, and we watched some truly amazing dancers light up the floor.

A massive shoutout to our very own Ciaran from ManHealth who was absolutely brilliant on the night! We’ll never let him live down those sequins and snake hips… who knew he had those moves in him? 😆

But most importantly, a huge well done to all the men who took to the dance floor, you were all fantastic. Each and every one of you represented your charities with pride, passion, and courage. You are an inspiration to your communities and a reminder of what can happen when men step forward quite literally for mental health. 👏

And of course, congratulations to Peter from I’m George’s Mate for taking home the trophy! 🏆

A well-deserved win on a night that celebrated strength, community, and the power of stepping out of your comfort zone.

💙 From all of us at ManHealth, thank you for dancing, sharing, and shining a light on men’s mental health.

Weekends aren’t always the “switch off” people think they are.

Sometimes they’re when your mind catches up, the stuff you’ve been putting off all week suddenly feels louder.

Here are a few small things that might help this weekend 👇

1️⃣ Get outside.
Even 20 minutes of fresh air can shift your headspace. Walk, kick a ball, wash the car, whatever gets you moving.

2️⃣ Talk to someone.
A mate, a brother, your dad, it doesn’t have to be deep. A quick chat can take the edge off a heavy week.

3️⃣ Cut yourself some slack.
You don’t have to fix everything today. Rest is productive too.

4️⃣ Do one thing that’s just for you.
Music, football, fishing, a film or something that reminds you you’re still you.

5️⃣ Remember you’re not alone.
If things feel too heavy, reach out. We’re here.
Find your nearest ManHealth peer support group at www.manhealth.org.uk

Take care of yourself this weekend, lads.
Small steps make a big difference.
