The Autumn seems to have arrived, and our Arts and Crafts leaves seem to sum up the weather 🌦️👀🍂 it’s also time for enjoying a yummy hot chocolate in this weather ☕️

We have been up to loads of activities recently…

Some of our residents have been to carriage driving 🐴 and different trips to Longleat 🐅🐯

Some have been going regularly to disco in Taunton and Weston 🪩

Some enjoyed a bbq set up while out on a walk (before the weather turned 🤣), and we have been on many different walks!

One of our residents made a beautiful peice of art to brighten up the office 🎨😁

We also had a 90’s themed birthday party which included lots of party food, a yummy birthday cake 🎂 and lots of dancing 🕺

Thank you to our amazing support workers for making moments like these so employable for our residents! ☺️

Yesterday we had our annual BBQ for all of our residents, their families & our staff☺️

A massive thank you to Mike & Steph for the delicious food 🍔🌭 and to Chloe for making the yummy puddings 🍰

We were lucky with the weather, the rain held off ⛅️ and it’s safe to say lots of yummy food was enjoyed! 😋

Thank you to everyone for working together to make this a lovely day for our residents and their families 🩷

Hello everyone! 😌

Just a few snaps again of what we’ve been up to the last few weeks..

We’ve been on many different walks to places like the Strawberry Line 🍓 Priddy Woods 🌳 Apex Park 🌺 and Rowberrow 🌳

Some of our residents have been to the cinema 🍿 some have been to Winscombe mini festival 🕺 some have been to disco 🪩 also a walk down to the local pub in the evening ☺️ and much much more!!

We have been doing some yummy baking 🧁 this weekend we have had some delicious cheesecake 😋

Hi everyone! ☺️

Here are some more pics of what we have been up to recently.. 👀

We had one of our residents birthday parties here, we had lots of party food and did lots of dancing 🕺🎂 we have been planting our sunflowers and painting the pots 🎨 this is for our yearly sunflower competition! 🌻

We have our relaxing hammocks to ‘chill’ on around the back of the house in the forestry along with a swing we have made 😁 we also had G-fitness come for another session 🥊

We have been out on our weekly cycle at the Strawberry Line 🚲 and we have been on many different walks to places like the Strawberry Line and Crooks Peak 🌳

Hi everyone ☺️

Here are just a few snaps of some of the things we have been getting up to in June…

We have been on many different scenic walks 🌳 Rowberrow Warren 🌼 Collette Park in Shepton Mallet 🌺 Blackwell Lake 🍃 Strawberry Lane 🍓

We have been trying to keep cool in this major heat! ☀️

We have also had Balance & Harmony - Sound Baths come to Daneswood again - they bring calmness and relaxation to Daneswood and our residents 😌 🧘🧘‍♀️

Day 4… the last full day! 🎉

Today there has been more swimming 🏊 we watched the Teddy Blue character show 🐻 one of our residents had a relaxing time at the The Well Spa enjoying the Celtic thermal suite experience 🧖‍♀️ we went for a walk around the lake and into the village 🏘️ we then had a takeaway and birthday cake for one of our residents birthdays 🎂🥳 ending the evening with the ‘end of stay party’ at the Cloud Theatre 🕺🎉

A massive thank you to all of our amazing support workers and team who have made this week possible! Our residents have had an amazing week full of fun which would not have been possible without the help of everyone involved.

Day 3… 🤩

Another busy day! The guys have been off doing different things today ☺️

Some have gone swimming again 🏊 some went out to Folly farm for the day 🐧🦎🐢 and some went to Tenby to the beach for the day 🏖️ and enjoyed a boat trip while they were there 🛥️

This evening we are going to all get together for an evening of bingo in one of the lodges 🤣😁

Day 2… 🥳

We have had a very fun busy day today here.. There has been different things going on.

There was the Gruffalo meet and greet down at the cloud theatre at the Serendome 📖 a trip to Pendine beach 🏖️ swimming at the blue lagoon water park 🏊💦 and bowling at the glow zone 🎳

Let’s hope the weather stays dry for us for the next few days here ☺️

Wonder what we will get up to tomorrow… 👀
