Reverend Ruths church service today was a poignant reminder of the struggle faced by people in other countries.
Our residents came together to remember those affected by conflict, poverty and injustice.
We lit candles, sang hymns, prayed and reflected on the importance of peace and compassion. We were reminded that we are all connected and our actions can make a difference in other people's lives.

🎃Halloween at Hillbro👻

We've had a week of Halloween activities.
Pumpkin carving 🎃 Decorations. Halloween & party tunes 🎶🎵. Films. Quizzes. Games. Lots of sweets, scary sing a long with Melody. Spooky exercises with Rachel 🐈‍⬛ A bit of fancy dress and, to finish off the week, ghostly wine cocktails for those who wanted them 🍹🍸

Some of our residents had their very own photo shoot this morning.
Louise Raynor came to take photos which will then be displayed, along with other homes, at the Bradford Industrial Museum in January.
They had photos taken and also told Louise a little bit about themselves which will be written up and added to the photo.
It's a way of remembering people who go into care homes, reminiscing about their lives and keeping their stories going 😍
