Tucked away in the most beautiful rural Cotswolds setting, a Peaceful Energy beyond anything you would have ever experienced... Products from NEPAL and the HIMALAYAS you do not see anywhere else, made by Craftsmen and women supported and encouraged by Alain since his first visit in 1979.
All the profit raised by the Galleries fund essential social projects in Nepal.
THE GARDENS, CAFE & THERAPIES
The two acres of GARDENS are open all year round. Alain has transformed a small RAILWAY Line, closed in the 1960’s, and created a Haven of Peace and Tranquility with collections of Roses, Lilies and French Irises.
THE HIMALAYAN COFFEE HOUSE is open from March to late October. A selection of Premier and Organic TEAS, COFFEES, light LUNCHES and Locally baked Artisan CAKES is served daily.
THE SHANGRI-LA CENTRE has a professional team offering a wide range of THERAPIES and HEALING Treatments: regular MEDITATION CLASSES, Personal & Spiritual Development WORKSHOPS and COURSES.
THE ALAIN ROUVEURE NEPAL FUND ( www.arnf.org.uk ). Since 1979, Alain Rouveure has encouraged fundamental social work in poor rural areas. The terrible Earthquakes of 2015 have had a devastating effect on the land and the people. More children than ever are being sold, abandoned or trafficked.
THE ALAIN ROUVEURE NEPAL FUND is a UK registered charity No 1166353, that has been specifically set up to accept contributions from well wishers and supporters wanting, like him, to make a difference to vulnerable people, especially children.
Alain personally monitors the different projects and makes sure that the donations received are spent directly where they count. He spends 6 months of the year in Nepal on two yearly visits. As he already works in Nepal for his Galleries, only a bare minimum is spent on “admin” for the charity.
A REAL DESTINATION. Ten miles from famous Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden and some of the world's most visited gardens of Hidcote and Kiftsgate, THE ALAIN ROUVEURE GALLERIES are only 15 minutes from Shakespeare's Stratford, 30 minutes north of Oxford, 45 minutes from Birmingham and just 1.5 hours from London.
