π November Roundup at Shipston Lodge π
This month has been full of heartwarming moments, joyful gatherings, and peaceful reflections. From calming yoga sessions to lively music, our residents have truly embraced the season of togetherness and care.
πΆ We kicked things off with relaxing yoga, where gentle movements and mindfulness brought a sense of calm to all. Yvette also returned for another uplifting music and movement session, filling the room with energy and joy. And of course, Julieβs singalong brought back cherished memories with every note.
𧩠Afternoons were well spent with jigsaws, Jenga and games β keeping minds active and spirits high. Residents bonded over puzzles, laughter, and a little friendly competition! Meanwhile, our Halloween arts & crafts brought out everyoneβs creative side with spooky fun and colourful designs.
π A big highlight was Wear It Pink Day! From delicious gingerbread women baked by Chef Claire to toe-tapping live music and balloon tennis, we raised awareness and had a blast while doing it. Community spirit was truly in full swing.
π³ We also took time to reflect. A special remembrance tree was lovingly created by Steph and Rachael, honouring the memory of residents who are no longer with us. And we were proud to take part in the Armistice Day Parade in Shipston-on-Stour, standing together in remembrance and unity.
π Finally, we celebrated birthdays with joy β wishing happy days to Mike, Tom, and Beryl! Each celebration was filled with cake, laughter, and warm wishes from our Shipston family.
