For nearly 10 years I’ve had the privilege of running Slimming World groups across Mansfield, Mansfield Woodhouse and Shirebrook, and every single week I watch people walk through the door unsure… and walk out believing in themselves again.

From all of us at Slimming World groups across Mansfield, Mansfield Woodhouse and Shirebrook we just wanted to wish the very best of luck to our incredible local team Mansfield Town F.C. as they take on Arsenal F.C. today at the brilliant One Call Stadium.

What a moment for the town and what a fantastic occasion for local football. The whole community will be right behind you today and we know the atmosphere will be absolutely electric!

Every single week I stand in group and witness something truly incredible. Ordinary people achieving extraordinary things. People who once doubted themselves now standing proud, lighter, stronger, and full of belief. Celebrating milestone awards and victories is at the very heart of what we do. These are not just numbers on a scale. These are confidence restored. Health improved. Smiles returned. Lives changed.I am watching dreams turn into reality right in front of my eyes. I am watching people prove to themselves that they can do this. That they are capable. That they are stronger than they ever believed.
To every single one of you who has picked up an award, lost even half a pound, walked through the doors when you did not feel like it, or simply refused to give up, you deserve all the credit in the world. Your determination, your courage, and your commitment inspires not just me, but everyone around you.

There is no judgement, only support, understanding, and a fresh opportunity to move forward. Every time you walk through those doors you are doing something positive for yourself, and that takes courage.
