I am profesional with a long history of working in Health and Social care and am experienced in identifying gaps where support would be beneficial .

If you're in quarantine or can't get to nature on your daily exercise, you might be pining for the great outdoors. Make the most of your sofa-surfing time and take a visual journey through some of the most impressive gardens with your feet up and a cup of tea in hand.

We have assembled a list of virtual gardens on our Resource page: www.carerssupport.org.uk/resource-list/

Travel to the tropics, the desert and the mountains without leaving the house with Kew Gardens's virtual tours of their gardens and glasshouses. Annual Arundel Castle's annual tulip festival, which uses an estimated 130,000 tulips and more than 180 different varieties of the flower. Discover Claude Monet’s garden at Giverny in Normandy, the setting for his famous Lilies paintings, or visit Hawaii's Tropical Botanical Garden.

Crafting and sewing can be therapeutic in keeping your hands busy and relaxing for your mind . I've enjoyed making hearts for the NHS . I feel that it's a very small way I can contribute .

Hello everyone . How are you all ? It's certainly a different time to what we have have ever experienced before .Theres no right or wrong way to feel and our emotions will be all over the place at times .We cope in our own unique ways as we are all individuals .We may be in the same storm but we are not in the same boat . Unfortunately following my recent fractured ankle/ leg my mobility is still pretty poor . Sadly I cannot offer any practical support but I am a good listener. I am more than happy to have a chat and can offer emotional support and advice . Please do not hesitate to get in touch . Please ring or message me as I can understand how debilitating loneliness can be even more so during this lockdown . Hang in there everyone . ###

Catch it. Bin it. Kill it. Protect yourself and others, always carry tissues with you and use them to catch your cough or sneeze. Bin the tissue then kill the germs by washing your hands with soap and water or use sanitiser gel. For more info http://ow.ly/7aXl50yjbOH
