Our aim is to be the best high quality private home care provider in the Worthing and Shoreham district including Henfield and Steyning. Whether you need occasional extra help around the house, assistance recovering from a hospital stay or full time live-in care, our carefully-matched CareGivers are here to help. The personal choices of our clients are always at the forefront of the care we provide, and our care is “outcome focussed” meaning that we support clients to achieve what they want – whether that be the ability to walk unaided to the bottom of the garden or go dancing and swimming. We provide companionship, personal care, transportation and meal preparation for many types of adult clients and have a particular focus on Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and stroke, where we believe that great homecare or live-in care makes such a difference to our clients and their families.

Big news for our team! 🧡

Louisa has been looking after our clients brilliantly as Acting Registered Manager over the past year… and now she’s officially our Registered Manager!
She’s completed her CQC registration, making her fully qualified to lead our team and continue supporting both staff and clients.

In her role, Louisa guides our team, ensures our clients receive the highest standards of care, and supports our staff every step of the way. She’s been doing an amazing job all along.

Meet our new Seniors! 💙

A big shoutout to Cristina, Sophia and Alex, who all stepped into their new Senior roles last month, joining Collette and Kelly on the team.

Our Seniors play a vital role in what we do, supporting our Carers day to day, offering guidance, assisting with visits, and ensuring our Clients continue to receive the highest quality care.

We’re so proud of everything they’ve achieved already. Their kindness, energy and care make such a difference every day.

Our week began with the sweetest surprise- one of our lovely Carers left this thoughtful note for Bernie before finishing their evening visit, ready for Bernie to find in the morning.

Another Carer spotted it today and couldn’t help but share the moment, a lovely reminder of how small acts of kindness can make someone’s day.

Watching an Autumn Sunset Together 🧡

Autumn can be a beautiful season, crisp walks, colourful leaves, cosy evenings indoors. But for some, the shorter days bring feelings of loneliness or worry about safety outside.

Our Carers often bring comfort in simple ways: preparing a hearty stew, helping to sweep leaves from the garden path, or sharing a crossword by the fire. These small moments of connection help our Clients feel cared for, safe, and part of the season.

Join from Bake Off: The Professionals for FREE Festive Fun!💙

Right at Home Worthing & Shoreham invite you to two FREE dementia-friendly Christmas sessions for older adults in our community.

👩‍🍳 Mince Pie Making – Monday 24th Nov, 2:30–4:00PM
🍪 Christmas Biscuit Decorating – Monday 15th Dec, 11:30–1:00PM

Both sessions are free to attend and full of festive cheer, creativity, and connection with Love to Move Sussex with Cherry and Anna

We’ll also be collecting donations for Dementia Adventure, a wonderful charity helping people living with dementia to get outdoors, enjoy nature, and stay active through supported holidays and activities.

A Lovely Day at the North Lancing Scarecrow Festival! 🧡

Love to Move Giving Back! 💙

Our Love to Move group has been busy not just moving and staying active, but also spreading kindness in our community!

We collected tins and canned goods during our sessions this week and are delighted to donate them to Shoreham Foodbank to support those in need.
