I interrupt your normal viewing for an important broadcast…

A striking and important article and Netflix series...

I’m reminded every time I go for coffee with a friend in a local department store, walking past the body care section, seeing all the big, thick plastic bottles and tubs, layers of plastic wrapping, filled to the brim with synthetic, heavily processed products, artificially coloured, fragranced and formulated…
…and I ask myself, does it even help if people recycle that?

Surely we should be doing better by now.

It strengthens my resolve to keep running my business with glass containers wherever possible, to keep my packaging and processes as plastic free as I can.
Yes, it impacts my profits, glass is expensive, but to me it is worth it to honour the beautiful natural ingredients inside.
This article and the programme that follows really highlight something important.
We need to start addressing this toxic plastic overload.
